Hi Bill, I have no complaints about ATI amps. The amp I have is built like a beast. It weighs in at a svelt 90lbs. It has excellent bass and drives my Chorus II's with authority. And it is quiet! Scott

I need a 15' to go from Oppo to TV. Once I get an HDMI pre/pro, I will run everything thru the pre/pro.

I already ordered the HDMI cable from Monoprice. I will have all of the cables I need when I order mine.

The store in Albuquerque where I bought my setup had a room with 4 Klipschorns in it. 2 in the front on the floor and 2 in the back hanging upside down from the ceiling. Talk about an awesome surround system!

When I was on cruise in the Navy on an aircraft carrier, we had the AFFF firefighting foam get discharged twice on open aircraft. The guys from the squadrons would place the electronic equipment in fresh water-filled trash cans. We would pick up our gear that we worked on and rinsed it out. Then scrubbed the electronics with a brush and IPA. After that, it was rinse time and left out to dry.

By option choices, I mean things like running Directv HDMI to OPPO or processor. Connecting my HTPC via HDMI or USB to processor or OPPO . Utilizing the analog outs or not...etc... I understand. I was asking for reference_head to chime in with his video settings that he came up with when he bought his 103. I will be getting a 105, also, in the near future, and I couldn't find where he (r_h) posted that thread. I know I have been drooling all over the Oppo site ever since I learned that they will coming out with new players. Options galore! I'm just trying to get all of the info I can from people who have the newer players to see what adjustments they made to the players and to see what translates from the 103 to the 105.

reference_head, Wouldn't the settings you came up with on your 103 be the same for a 105?

I am biased. I would keep the Chorus II's. I think they are an impactful speaker. Besides the Khorn being the first Klipsch speaker I heard, I fell in love with the Chorus II. Bang for the buck, presence, impact...those would be my words for the Chorus II.
