I've recently updated to the RC62ii and will be getting the RF82ii's sometime this year but for now this is my humble little system...

Two RB-81ii's for mains and a RC-64ii center just above tv pointing down. If he has front height channels in that Integra then I would throw a couple more 81iis above the other two tv's.

Thats already a must. Really want the Denon 4311. Dont think I would need an amp with my size of speakers but if I did the preouts are there.

I just received my RC62ii a couple days ago. I had a RC52ii before. I also noticed a drop in volume level. I changed nothing and didnt rerun audyssey either. Its obvious it needs more power to open up. I did rerun audyssey and its still the same. Time to upgrade my AVR lol.

Thats gonna be sweet when its done. I envy everyone who has a dedicated theater room. Im only a few hrs north of you and would be more than happy to make the drive down for a demo of them four RF83's in action lol.

Yes I'm thinking the 82ii's would be a nice combo with what I already have. They are kinda big for my livingroom though but we do plan on buying a house in the near future.

I sold my RC52ii to a co-worker and upgraded to the RC62ii for under 100$. My wife says NO MORE upgrading after this. I told her I just have my fronts to do then I promise I'm done until next year then I will do my AVR. I think Rush R30 sounds incredible in DTS HD MA. This is by far the best sounding concert on bluray that they've produced IMO.

I have a loudness control on my Denon. Its called turning up the volume [*-)]

The Sony S790 is so quiet you cant hear it.

I think the 1913 is a good choice. I also own a Denon. Have friends that own Denons and none have had any problems with them.

I was looking at an Oppo a couple months ago but decided to buy the Sony BDP-S790. Great bluray player for around 225.00. Experts say the upconversion is comparable to an Oppo. It also streams everything from your laptop such as music , photos, videos. It also plays SACD's. Excellent machine and half the cost of an Oppo.
