What's sad is the 1% are looking at the US as a has been consumer. They're looking at where the economy is growing where they can market the goods elsewhere. I wish someone would come up with a solution.

What part does a union demand better product? I'm all for Made in the USA. We're not an island, exporting is how we made the money that we did. The only thing that's being exported is jobs.

Agreed, but what's the solution? If not (insert company), then the competition will. Correct. So let's jump off the cliff before they do. Cut costs, raise profits or go out of business. Export, then offshore, now nextshore. It's all about the $. I want to hear solutions.

ef, Most, if not all, things one buys was put together using what could be used where the consumer can afford it and the manufacturer can make a profit. From there, improvements can be made by the ones who so see fit. If one buy a car (a Vet, let's say) and upgrades the brakes, is it no longer a Vet? When PK got started using Baldwin made cabinets and EV speakers, were they not Klipsch?
