Before you buy new stuff,,,touch all the soldered connections with a soldering iron.....this has been a fix before on someones i think....maybe replace the wire going to tweeter to,,,,try different stuff first...maybe a simple fix.....rick

Well you might try a HK430 its cheap and more than a few of us say its a good reciever.It doesn't get very warm while rockin the house with my Scalas..lol...i know ...wude huh.....but you can usually get one on e-bay for a good price.Its worth a try ,dont you think.Well im sure others will post on this so lets just leave it there,,,,rick

hey Mr.Moon you might want to listen to a pair of LaScalas to...i listened to them side by side when i bought my Scalas.The Belles are good but female voices dont sound right to me on them.With the Scalas you get the big horn midrange and it sounds much better i think......if you have to have the Belles for looks well thats another story...dont want to start a war here on this just put in my one cent worth....good luck..rick

OK i will bite...hey mobile you say equipment exposure, but all you have are Cornwalls,I have three models of Heritage i have heard a lot of speakers over the years,fixed a lot of them for friends,foam surrounds etc.Then you say vintage tube amps in same price range yea right,,,lets see HK gives me amp,pre amp,tuner.....what do i get with a tube amp in same price rang....nothing....get real.You probably spend more on cd cleaner from germany made from the sweat of a frog or something, but you want someone to send you an HK to test, come on by your own man.This is supose to be fun lighten up a little,i see why only a few ever post on this board cause they are afraid of rich guys making fun of thier stuff.MR,Paul had a sense of humor why dont we have one on his board?......Now prodj....the reason i spelled like that i was listening to PINKS cd and thought it would be funny for a fourm thats been so up tight lately....but instead i get ripped...thats fine,i will try to only post about wire that has the atoms straightened out in Germany...shipped in virgin plastic from England...hooked to solid gold connectors from Russia.....no i think i will just listen to my system and enjoy it like Mr.paul intended.......i tried not to be wude...please forgive me Mr.paul

NO ..the tailboard is the piece of wood that is into the corner...the very back of speaker...there should be a gasket there,,,,and along the top and bottom to if you want more out of the bass bin....but the wall not being square can be fixed by rubber gasket along the horizontal edge of bass bin no problem.......rick

As long as you have tailboard sealed to corner good,,,the sqaurness of the wall should not matter all that much....never seen a wall stay square anyway,,wood warps,foundation moves,etc...But the tailboard needs a good seal on both sides of the edge of it to help the bass bin work,,,also check polarty of wires to speaker and woofer,,,more than a few members here have found wires wrong....rick

Mallet,,you have to seal tail board to the corner of the wall...k-horns come with gasket to do this but usually gets lost or not installed....think of it like this you have two sides and need to seprate the sides at the corner of the room....rick

Are you talking about the tailboard,,,gap at bottom next floor..or gap running away from the corner of wall,like the corner is not sqaure?If its just the wall not being plumb at the tailboard rubber stripping on tail board would fix it.....hope this helps..rick

Does the sqaure plywood you put on bottom of speaker touch the wall on the sides......did you put grippers or rubber on bottom of k-horn,,like hdbr advised?..I have put grippers on my LaScalas and wow...also hk430 reciever will help to....it has good clean power and cheap to...still need a picture to see what is going on though...rick

can you show us a picture,,,,,not sure if its that bad,,,,,maybe out of phase wire hook up to,,,,rick

if it doesnt do it all the time i think it is temp. sensor...if it does it all the time maybe cap and rotor....check these first,,,,they are a cheap fix...wude wick,,,lol

I did a mod. to my aa crossovers you might like its not bannana plugs but i think i like it better .its very solid connection...im working on getting a pic of it some how,some way.But if you need to do fast and repeated connetions this is not for you...well i hope to post a pic soon...rick

ok i'll bite....im sorry for wanting a pic,serial numbers ....but the add still says each and one available.so if i send this guy 3200 and and he only sends me one speaker all he has to do is say well the add said each.I only did it to get him to put up a pic but then i looked at his other adds and no pics there ,makes me say hmmmm.Another thing is ,its buy only,no bids taken but he said he was going to block me from bidding, if you cant bid why did he say that...as if i would..lol...for you guys that still believe this guy send him some money see what you get.Seems he is a big seller of stuff on e-bay why doesn't he have a camera?Just some things i noticed....if you know this guy tell him im sorry for jumping on him,but i did do it in a good hearted way....did not use bad words etc.{how wude of me to want to see a picture of the item}I promise i wont bid on it so others can...oopps you can't bid on it anyway.....rick

i e-mailed this guy on ebay with those high priced k-horns ,told him he was on some real good drugs since he did not provide pics,serial numbers...he e-mailed me back.. that he was glad i did that now he can block me from bidding,,,,,please e-mail him and tell him he must have blocked the entire world cause he will not get any bids,,,,lol....rick he also said i was rude,,,,lol

take it from me and a few others...get an hk430 and be happy...it will kick your back side into the next county and keep your wallet fat for cds and girls.......well maybe not in that order,,,rick

if the heresy one works in cornwall now,,,then something was wrong with others ones before,,,i dont think you did it,,,maybe rebuilt wrong,maybe damaged in shipping,,,ups..you know what they do with little boxes well better you not know....keep the heresy ones in cornwall for awhile....bet they work fine...rick

you should also think about an hk430 and grippers if on a hard floor....check out my posts on this....also hdbr has alot of info on hk430.....rick
