  1. That's very easy to answer. If you are afraid then don't leave your house and be exposed. They are now finding antibodies in roughly 1/3 of tested people in Massachussets for instance. So this thing has spread way beyond what they think and has effected very few seriously. I have to quit now as I have a job in Nashville to go to and I am off.
  2. That's the same as Hydroxyquinone being ignored with a ton of real life evidence it works. The safety is beyond doubt and there is a lady in my Church that takes it for Rheumatoid Arthritis so it clearly does work for more than one thing. I was at my Urologist recently for a bladder check up. The nurse and I were talking about this and she said that Hydroxy had bad side effects. I had to laugh and I asked her if my wife should stop taking her meds that have all kinds of dire warnings slathered on the label. I don't think anyone had asked her that before and her answer was you have a good point. CNN plays on the hospital TV's all day long.
  3. No I just read what he said and there was nothing about eugenics in there. There was a lot about forced social control of lives though just like the Chinese are doing. That is a good question. Years ago I was pondering the value of human life and suffering relative to some of these outrageous lawsuit awards. If a man had a reasonable expectation of making say 1.5 million in his life how could he be worth 60 million in a lawsuit award. Who was going to pay that and what was the top limit on a persons value? Would a reasonable estimation of say three times expected life time earnings be a reasonable cap? So it boils down to what is the cost to society as a whole and not each individual when society as a whole is expected to pay for it all and that includes even our yet to be born children who are saddled with this mess too. I would say things had to be far worse than this before I would have reacted in this fashion. No I don't have a specific answer for you in absolute numbers.
  4. That is straw man logic and I never said there was nothing. What I said was there is nothing there to create this level of reaction. What is your response to this? If it ends up being say 100,000 that is still only a one in 33,000 chance of death from this and there will be a ton of things take you out before the Wuhan flu will. The bad life choices most all of us make are far more deadly than Wuhan ever dreamed of being.
  5. Sweden did not quarantine and so far from what I read their death rate is the same as ours. Precisely. When there are so many "authorities" and few seem to agree and the media does not make an effort to seek truth what exactly should you believe? There is an old saying that you follow the money. What it really means is to be vigilant and regard sources with suspicion and not credulity just because the 6:00 news said so. I still run into people that say if it is on TV it has to be true. In the mean time you can dissect reports with a few equations and come up with things do not add up. When this is done things will still not add up right is my prediction.
  6. OK tell me how? Is the math off? Where are all the deaths that make this needed? How is it that this thing just popped up and around the world unprecedented quarantines just all pop up like magic? Assertions without real rebuttal other than you don't agree does not prove anything. I guess my main concern over all this is how credulous people are and not standing back and asking why this, why now and what is so epochally different that the whole world must be thrown into chaos? In the mean time people like Bill Gates are promoting a world wide bureaucracy to chip and certify you as disease free in order to be a part of society. This whole thing is tailor made for power hungry people to take away freedoms and exert control over you in ways you can't imagine. Does the idea of Google wanting data on you to track your proximity to someone else who might have Wuhan flu not seem a little spooky and perhaps just a smidgen Orwellian? There is so much going on here and very little of it has to do with pandemic other than using it as an excuse to further agendas.
  7. Yes and when you can't factually rebut something ridicule it. ROFLMAO!
  8. ROFLMAO !! I think I am going to carve Make Audio Great Again on my woofer access panels on the supers.
  9. OK these are not quite finished yet but giving anyone who might be interested in a really fine three way home theater system a heads up. 904LF bass bins with LF crossovers in them and then three KP-450 horn tops with crossovers in them. When I am done I will update this post with pictures. This will be another plug and play system. One horn is kind of like new old stock and another one has a new diaphragm just installed and the third was fine and I will be rebuilding the other two to match the NOS horn. $2100 for the set and no I will not sell just a pair of them. I will also be working on a set or two of 904 bass bins with the 10" x 18" EBay horn which test better than the 510 which will have stock Klipsch 904 crossovers and the B&C DE75 drivers will be put on the new better horns. These will be the equivalent of the KPT-904-N2 and will also be plug and play. I also have three Altec A-7's I have been dragging my feet on fixing up and these might be bumped to the top of the line soon if there is interest. Or I just might sell the project as is so if you have interest PM me for details.
  10. Easy recap and save the money and have "new" crossovers on the cheap. 1-47uf and two 1.5uf caps per crossover and you are good to go for less than $30.00. A set of Forte's is what started me down the slippery slope of bigger than even bigger yet. Recapping crossovers is the best and cheapest thing to do for old Klipsch speakers and you might be happy for a lifetime with just this. While you are in there check the spade end connections to make sure they are not loose. Loosen and tighten the screws on the barrier strip if that has one and make sure all the woofer, mid, tweeter and passive screws are snug also. Good to go for another 30 years after that. I am in the group that says some of your music files are probably not very good. Klipsch will play good music well and crummy music really crummy because garbage in garbage out.
  11. Gotta love this thread. Going from fake news of this "pandemic" that has killed less than the flu bug did two years ago to CNN is a capable authority in all things and honest purveyor of truth, and of course the obligatory orange man bad. 5 trillion + in USA damage to economy and stocks and jobs and outright payments. Lets see now 5T big ones divided by 35,000 = $142 MILLION plus per death. There is a big world wide game going on here and it has nothing to do with a pandemic. Not one person in the world is worth that unless they earned it personally and are willing to spend it on themselves to recover. Recovery is cheap though as long as major pharma is kept out of it and Hydroquinone is as a noted smart man said prescribed. I am proud of a man that as an outsider with no prior public office decided to fight the swamp, graft and corruption and he prevailed against everyone and every organization. Not beholden to anything but his love for America as the framers of the constitution intended it to be. We are fortunate indeed he is at the helm right now.

These were kind of an accident. I had two horn bins I had forgotten about on a pallet on the top rack in my shop. I pulled it down recently to look at what was on there and lo and behold these were in the back where I could not see them from the floor. I figured you had the last set I would ever see but this made another set with the 904 bins I got from Rigma. Folks if any of you are interested you really don't have a lot of time to think about it. The CL inquiries are starting to come in and it won't be too long before they are gone. This is the tenth set I have had and not one of these has stayed here for long once fixed and listed.

Well you could do what I do to make trips like that worth while. I buy it all and bring them home😁

Yes these have the better ribbed cones.
  15. OK you saved me from posting Tiny Tim!
  16. We are doing well and hope yours is too. Yeah those 301's are great speakers but they don't cut the mustard once you have been ruined by big pro Klipsch.

    KPT-456

OK let me make it worse. I will finish up a three way KP-450 set soon. Right, left and center channel for a killer home theater. Or get all of them and have a front left and right channel 456 and center and rears with the 450's. Plus it is spring here and it is not there.
  18. What you really need for house speakers are S-MWM's to go with your new amps.
  19. They are nice. I am saving four of the KPT-100's for my son in laws restaurant when he reopens for house sound. He does not need loud but he does want fairly nice and these tiny boxes do really well for their size.

It seems to take about a week for CL listings to really get noticed. I posted these here just for the heck of it hoping they would go to a forum member. No matter where they end up though the happy new owner knows what he got. It is different selling this kind of speaker over regular Klipsch and the buyers are much more informed and know what they want before they call or show up.
  21. Yes in an armed Republic where by the Bill of Rights you can protect yourself and the original framers also said you can protect your liberties against tyrannical governments. I am sure the Chinese enjoy all the freedoms we do.
  22. Of all the things you said in that paragraph of CNN DNC PC nonsense this is the most amazing. It is, no doubt, why so many Americans are flocking to China to live and no Chinese are trying to come over here. Sarc Off.
