  1. I'd suggest hooking it to the rear of the speaker, you might want to remove the screws first though..
  2. I'd give you $150 cash right now for them.. Where are you located?
  3. You might get $3-$400 on eBay but keep in mind shipping and seller's fees are expensive, not to mention the time and materials it takes to pack these properly, better off with a local sale IMO, good luck.
  4. Look at the shape of the "pile," looks eerily similar to the Reference set:
  5. I still you think you should steal the titanium tweets out of your 3.2's and put them in your Forte's.
  6. I felt / feel the same way after adding the Ultra 2 subs to my system, actually feel like my Chorus II's may somehow be over kill now?
  7. For one thing, I trust the Paypal / Credit card fraud protection system, been doing business this way for years. Another thing is this guy has a pretty well setup eBay store with almost 200 listings. Yeah, he was a little flakey there for a minute but I'm a betting man and guessing (hoping) everything will pan out just fine.
  8. He just reached out to me via text and offered the original deal of $1200 shipped and I accepted. I guess we'll see how this all turns out. I'm actually excited to hear this thing as it has to just blow away any other center I've ever heard.
  9. It would be nice to see some trickle down from the Palladium...
  10. Is that a pair of Chorus II's I see in the background?
  11. Well, there still is the potential that the OP is a buyer..?? I haven't seen too many other "custom" Heresy's for sale out there.
  12. This guy talked a good game, claimed to be an authorized dealer and that the warranty would be good. Sounds like he has multiple Palladium items for sale for great prices. I don't know anything more about him then what he has told me. I actually found him on eBay, I'm still high bidder on his open box center. I feel safe paying with a credit card through Paypal but it is a hassle to open a claim and go through the whole process, not to mention tying up available funds for X amount of time.
  13. Just for clarification he told me $1200 shipped through emails. Once I got him on the phone he dropped the price to $1100 and I told him to send the invoice.
  14. That's the same guy, turned out to be a bit flakey. He actually sent me an invoice for $1100 shipped through Paypal while I was out. I was about to send payment about an hour later when he texted me back and said that his "partner" wouldn't let him sell it for less than $1600. I told him that was crazy as he has one listed for less than that on Audiogon. He said that the listing was a "mistake" and that he was going to change it right away to avoid confusion, this was over 6 hours ago and its still the same. Don't get me wrong, $1600 shipped for one of these new is still a great deal, just not the deal we agreed to on the phone. I decided to just drop it and wished him luck.
  15. If you look at the seller's feedback there have been some sales: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=509dcb&&_trksid=p2047675.l2560&rt=nc&iid=321627699093&sspagename=VIP:feedback&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller Thanks c***n ( 258) During past 6 months klipsch Heresy I K-22EF K55V-K77M Teak Oiled Black Walnut cabinet-Premium Cables (#321437744694) US $3,128.00 Thank you c***n ( 258) During past year klipsch Heresy I K-22EF K55V-K77M Teak Oiled Black Walnut cabinet-Premium Cables (#321411719523) US $2,828.00
  16. Just watched this last night. Not as funny as some of their other movies but I thought it was entertaining. I watched the new "Hobbit" movie in the theater a few hours before and honestly was about equally entertained.
  17. I have a chance at a new in the box p-27c center speaker with warranty, is this a good center and price?
  18. Yeah, that seems like a crazy price to me but if you check the guys feedback he's sold at least a few pairs already..
  19. He has them listed on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Replacement-Woofer-for-Klipsch-Heresy-Heresy-II-KLF-30-/380459835971?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item58952c6243
  20. Both sets of TI drivers I used were original Klipsch diaphragms. The ones I ordered 6 years ago came directly from Klipsch and the ones I bought about a year ago I picked up NOS from eBay from the guy in Canada. Its obviously really hard (if not impossible) to try and compare differences with a 5 year gap in between but I can tell you that I absolutely did not like them the first time around and counted the minutes before taking them out. The second time around I actually enjoyed them at low to mid volume, normal listening levels, they just got ridiculous (and unbearable) at higher volumes. Maybe I had them reversed the first time around?
  21. Knowing now that the mids are the same only "dialed back" via crossover in the Forte II I imagine that the titanium mids would probably work much better in that application. I have not tried it personally but have I swapped Chorus II crossovers in Forte II cabinets and the added midrange output sounds great.
  22. I actually did the upgrade twice with my Chorus II's. To keep a long story short I ordered a set of the titanium mids about 6 years ago and installed them without any crossover changes and they were just horrible! Extremely screechy and in your face, they did not blend with the other drivers at all. I stuck it out for about a week just to see if they'd break in or I'd get used to them but I never did. Fast forward to about a year ago when I discovered the crossover thread mod and became interested again. I ordered new crossovers from Crites with the band pass adjustment for the titanium mids and tried it again. They were much better than the first time, substantially better. If I only listened at a lower volume or near-field I may have kept them. Thing is, I like to rock it on occasion (once a week, maybe twice) and really turn things up. The titanium mids just became unbearable at higher volumes. My impressions were that they did play louder giving them more presence and detail at lower volumes. The probably was that they seemed to keep getting louder at a higher rate than the rest of the drivers to the point of being extremely unbalanced at high volumes. I really wanted to like them and have an "upgrade" but at the end of the day they had to go.
  23. Looks like a great product from a good company, congrats on your purchase!
