  1. So in my situation, with R-15M fronts, would you opt for the RC-42 II, Synergy C-20, or KC-25? oh... someone I think asked about my amp/Receiver.... I have a Yamaha RX-V477BL. Thanks for the help, all! I would personally go for the RC-42II unless you can find a RC-25 or RC-35 I would try to match the size of the woofer to all components 4.5" 5.25" 6.5" 8" etc

  3. Mixing is not bad if that is what your budget allows. You can always upgrade later. I am currently getting ready to upgrade my towers from the Synergy F20's to a Reference line either RF25, or RF-62 which will closely match my other 6.5" reference. The Synergy F20 towers sound great with everything else I have but aluminum woofers stick out versus reference copper. It is all a preference to what you want and your goals for HT setup. You can always throw 4 18" KPT-884-SW, 2 Jubilees, 2 LaScalas, & 2 K-Horns at it and level the building as this with the correct power ratios will measure on the richter scale. lol
  4. Welcome to the forum, you will find some great insight and helpful members here. You must fill your Klipsch force with a full surround setup you will be amazed.
  5. A 1080P 240hz refresh rate TV will be sufficient and use some nice HDMI cables. I would wait on 4K til more content is available and the price drops a bit even though the curved display is sweet.
  6. A moment of silence for the RB5. But with a little elbow work and a new driver, it can be reborn. If only there were 2.
  7. Im not a thorough wiring man on LaScalas yet, but sounds like you have got all or most of the basics covered. I would ask Youthman (LaScala Trio Man) or Scrappydue

    Welcome to the forum
  9. @ Premsaggar I wouldn't dismantle it if you bought it new, I would send it back or try a good quality ground loop isolator.
  10. Did you buy this sub brand new If so, I would just return it? If it is a used one, a return if the seller allows it or pull the amp off of it and check all the connections. Sounds like LFE or ground wire is not getting proper contact. I hear the ground loop isolator are supposed to be golden in most situations but I have never tried one personally.
  11. I had the hdmi problem on my first Onkyo, which was a 508. On my new one, so far so good. But it is on my mind if it will happen again. I hear alot of stories about this problem. If I do get strike two on the Onkyo's, I will definitely go to something else.
  12. The future would be great if they made Klipsch smart home theater receivers that recognize what type of Klipsch speakers you and automatically make 3-4 optimized listening levels for them & are ready for stackable Klipsch amps if ever made. Well maybe I shouldn't give out all my plausible engineering greatness lol but, a great mid to high end line of smart receivers would be awesome though.
  13. Praying, wishing & hoping for the best with a speedy recovery
