  1. Look at the garage sale, there are nice amplifiers for you... 😉
  2. And to supplement your information, there are whole pages on Community Klipsch devoted to the tube amps, good reading https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/forum/109-talkin-tubes/ ✌️
  3. Hi, in new tubes amplifier you can try like Klipsch either CARY Audio or Toolshed Amps https://www.toolshedamps.com/ Then Leben, Line Magnetic, Manley Stringray, Inspire of Dennis Had... amplifiers have a good reputation with Klipsch Heritage, but there are also others ... You can contact Cory Harison of Metropolis for expert advice and choose the best amp with your budget. https://paducahhometheater.com/
  4. Hi Cory, I really like the decoration of your rooms, the equipment is well integrated and the Klipsch are admirably highlighted. I share your with your installation an amp of the Cary brand that I have had for over twenty years. Bravo for your enthusiasm. We have here in Europe a historic ambassador of Klipsch, he is in Germany and distributes Klipsch since 1975, it's incredibly long: 45 years. You made me think of him, because you have the same passion, if you do not know him yet I am sure that he will appreciate a little hello from you on Facebook, His name is Mr Werner Enge. https://www.facebook.com/Klipsch.Direct His site is incredible, with hundreds of photographs of his customers' Klipsch installations : https://www.klipsch-direct.de/referenzen.html His store is beautiful : https://www.klipsch-direct.de/House-of-Klipsch.html Thousands of things about Klipsch : https://www.klipsch-direct.de/index.html And glowing comments on his work : https://www.klipsch-direct.de/Meinungen.html Good visit
  5. Hi You can ask Mr Werner Enge, he's been a great Klipsch specialist for 40 years. He is very nice and can help you out His store is in Germany and is called KlipschDirect https://www.klipsch-direct.de/index.html Klipsch service : https://www.klipsch-direct.de/Klipschservice.html
  6. Arggggg ! 😜 Perhaps try directly to see with Klipsch factory, he will certainly tell you which speaker to put. You can also dismantle your speaker to see if there is a label and note the reference, the search will be easier. Otherwise, I'm not American so I don't know the speaker exchange directly, but they seem to have your speaker, ask them to find out if it's good. https://reconingspeakers.com/product/klipsch-1013388-kf-26-tweeter-horn-lens/ Good luck 😉
  7. Welcome Congratulations on the acquisition of your KHorn ! Have a pic ? 😉
  8. Hi, Welcome 👍 Look here, Simply Speakers will advise you https://www.simplyspeakers.com/Klipsch_bymfg_16-0-1.html
  9. The end of my series ✌️
  10. Vinyl from rolls: this one is great 😍
  11. Have others , but in cd (pouark !!! )
  12. All my youth, when I was a child I watched Skippy on French TV ORTF in 1968 and 1969, it was exotic for us in France, because here there are not these animals. there was also Flipper the dolphin, in the same years, but that was American. It was just as exotic for me and a dream life to have these animals as a companions. Note : I love Scott Joplin
  13. The Celestion CDX07-1075 in this video looks more like the Klipsch than the one in the pic 😉
  14. I bought PHT-409 / Monacor MHD-190 to mount a B&C DE120 and replace the K107Ti of my CWIII, because the horn is the same Note : Here in Europe we don't have DaveA 😪 and his superb Mahl 😍 so we tinker 😜 MHD-190 VS K107ti MHD-190 with B&C DE120 on my CWIII, after removal of the diffraction piece
  15. One of the best woods is black wood from Africa: Grenadilla. It is used to make the instrument (clarinet, oboe, ...). I have a Yamamoto HS1 headshell holder which is in this wood and it is great. There is also Ebony, or Cocobolo as hardwood. only problem will be the price and possibly the color if you are looking for a light or golden brown wood. There remains the furniture woods like olive, cherry, walnut, beech, oak, ... After on of beautifull is the Rose wood real or Rosewood not real Rose wood but great look Grenadilla wood Rose wood
  16. I'm not saying it's the same, but it looks a lot alike, certainly the same basics with differences for OEMs
  17. Hi CANT, thank for your reply, Maybe I should change the driver and do K701/B & C DE250 (in 16ohm so as not to modify the network), because at home, in France, It costs more to bring the diafragms for the K53 (transport from the US is very expensive) than buying the DE250 (around 85 € here). The difficulty will remain the narrowing of the throat, I saw here on the forum that some had succeeded without too much distortionand with good listening much better than with K52/53. Or later I will have to modify the K701 so that it is fully compatible with the DE250 A bit like jjptkd with its Chorus II horn mounted with K55
  18. The new K702 is very similar to the Celestion CDX1-1748, possibly in a 16ohm version. Besides, the tweeters from AK6 and AL5 also look a lot like the tweeters from Celestion K702 on CWIV
  19. For me the profile of PH-2510 still looks a lot like K704 which equips the new Heresy IV. PH-2510 VS K704 Klipsch, the profile seems identical, tractrix? here is a good picture of PH-2510 for a good comparison You know it is the new K702 compression, I would like to replace the K53ti with K701 of my Cornwall III because I find that the sound is creaky in the meddle, maybe my ears do not like Titanium 😪
  20. Hi, Here in France, it's 4:15 p.m., 13 ° C (55 ° F), nice sun and blue sky
  21. hi, Sorry, I made a mistake, I meant seven capacitors There are 2 one on the other in the bottom right ! I dismounted my filter on CWIII and there is RLC on squawker and K33E, klipsch uses this method
