  1. My mom would throw her cast iron in the raked leaves burning in the fall. I have lots of cast iron and its about all I use. A friend of mine from schools mother passed afew years ago and she was buried with all her cast iron by request. It was hard on the guys that had to carry the casket im sure and yes this is true!
  2. Biopsy report came back very bad. Wasn't expecting results for a few days but hey told us already that there are multi mass and very fast growing. Im crying my eyes out right now as I type and would not be on here if it wasn't for the fact of wanting tom to get as many prayers as he can get.Told us he has no chance so I hope this is where the lord steps in. Thanks to all who have posted!!
  3. Prayers to your family!
  4. Im glad you are better and i hope you have a full recovery! Thanks for sharing that with me. Also to Joessportsters prayers to your father and family!
  5. His name is tom. He's a great guy and if you knew him you would agree I'm sure. Thanks guys!
  6. I would like one of these . Its a nice smoker but I really don't need it. https://270smokers.com I keep it old school and don't spritz, inject, etc. I put a rub on and don't open untill I think its almost done unless I'm adding charcoal or wood. I also think its the cook and not the smoker used as long as the cook knows his smoker.
  7. My brother was found to have two tumors on his brain. Really blew us back. Think about him if you would. Peace to all!
  8. I have had mine for about 5 years. I don't use water as I use a pizza pan with a terra-cotta plate inside wrapped in foil. I used to post some on the weber forum but mostly just read.
  9. I use a weber smoky mountain with plans to upgrade to a 270 smoker down the road. The more I use the weber the less I think I need to upgrade. I made a pork butt two days ago thats better than 98 percent of the joints Ive been to. They have a website thats is the virtual weber bullet thats loaded with good info. Going to go eat a sammy now. Hickory or peach for pork is best in my opinion ! Loves me some BBQ!!!!
  10. WUEV Evansville has a great program every morning. Jazz Flight. Its a College station. Rap Crap some nights but Blues on Saturday.
  11. One album I did like that had different sounds going back and forth was Pink Floyd dark side of the moon. Lots of times in my late teens blown out on weed and booze it sounded so fine. The start of money was the best. Most of the time Iā€™m not a big fan of recordings like this but they were the exception!
  12. I know some think of EQ as the devil but using the loki turn down 8000hz down about 3 db from 0 and 2db or so at 2000 hz and the titanium tweeters on my rp280s sound great. You just run it down till the sparkle remains but the sizzle is gone. If the recording is lite on top take the 2000 and 8000 hz back to 0 or plus 1 maybe. Add a fuzz for spotify and pullback a fuzz for cd. I have a really average room so I need EQ! Your situation may vary but if took my situation from WOW I HATE THESE SPEAKERS to WOW I LOVE THESE SPEAKERS.
  13. Rp280F can still be found at great prices and love mine. Listening to mine right now.
  14. Great price! I have these and really love them. Good luck with the sell.
  15. fluance ai60 for 300 bucks look nice for the price..
  16. If I got them they will be used with a emotiva pt-100 and erc-3 cd player. RP280F speakers. I don't really need them. May try them for a second system. Some things I hear about class d kind of scares me. Using a a-300 emotiva now.
  17. Anyone try them? Price make them tempting! Iā€™m not a person who spends tens of thousands on equipment so be easy on me.
  18. I can't wait to retire. So happy for you. I can get out in 2023 at 60 years old. Ive been working the same job for 35 years so I'm sure I will be ready working shift work the whole time. I will have to do something to keep from going crazy! Good luck.
  19. I will check that one out better when I get off work. This is what I have been looking at also. Its not fancy but they say works great whoever they are! Bonavita BV 1900TS
  20. We use them at work and using them 24/7 we usually get about 3 to 4 years. Thats about what the last 3 have lasted. I would like to get one certified by the Specialty Coffee Association. Basically meaning it will get between 195 and 205 temp wise and takes less than 8 mins to brew.
  21. Its my coffee maker! After about 20 years my bunn bit the dust. Im not sure what to replace it with but I know the new ones don't last near as long. Im looking for something a lot better at making a great cup of coffee that gets hotter but I will miss the old girl. What are some of you using and are you happy with what you have?
  22. I had one of these in 78. I was 15 and thought it was the really something. It sounded good to me but then I got a pioneer cd player and it sounded much better . A lot of tapes were very poor quality but it was still great for the time. I had some good quality tapes I recorded off albums that sounded pretty good. I know there were better tapes and machines than I had. Sounded better when I was stoned šŸ˜Ž! https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=AwrEzNzy7XVcf5cAzSqJzbkF;_ylu=X3oDMTBsZ29xY3ZzBHNlYwNzZWFyY2gEc2xrA2J1dHRvbg--;_ylc=X1MDOTYwNjI4NTcEX3IDMgRhY3RuA2NsawRiY2sDZmZ0bGZvMWUydjBiaiUyNmIlM0Q0JTI2ZCUzRGh5Q0RQYTVwWUVJcUNXb2Q4M0RDc1RndGcyRXF1ZW1sVXl6TC5nLS0lMjZzJTNENm0lMjZpJTNEdi5iUjRtQlRuc2JmVF9aa2ZNR0IEY3NyY3B2aWQDeE1jb29URXdMakwzOXFfQVhDLkJjd0VPTVRrNUxnQUFBQUIyQ0J3dQRmcgN5ZnAtdARmcjIDc2EtZ3AEZ3ByaWQDWHVHakwzOGRRdXFNeEpTVmtlRWR4QQRtdGVzdGlkA251bGwEbl9zdWdnAzAEb3JpZ2luA2ltYWdlcy5zZWFyY2gueWFob28uY29tBHBvcwMwBHBxc3RyAwRwcXN0cmwDBHFzdHJsAzI3BHF1ZXJ5A2p2YyBjYXNzZXR0ZSBkZWNrIGtkIDEwIDgwcwR0X3N0bXADMTU1MTIzMjUxMQR2dGVzdGlkA251bGw-?gprid=XuGjL38dQuqMxJSVkeEdxA&pvid=xMcooTEwLjL39q_AXC.BcwEOMTk5LgAAAAB2CBwu&p=jvc+cassette+deck+kd+10+80s&fr=yfp-t&fr2=sb-top-images.search.yahoo.com&ei=UTF-8&n=60&x=wrt&y=Search#id=18&iurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hifidatabase.com%2Fstatic%2Fgallery%2F8%2F6628-jvc_KD-10.jpg&action=click
  23. I thought they were great in the late 70s and the 80s but anyone who was alive back then knows their faults. This is a good read. Check it out. https://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/audio/a24848370/cassette-tapes-national-audio-company/
  24. Im talking about the monoprice wire.
  25. Give me one to try out. I will give you a 55 year olds take on you new product and give a honest review. Hey I was pretty cool in 1979šŸ˜Ž! Something in this price range will have to make some of us baby boomers happy for added sales. I know when I was a teen something in this price range would have been out of my reach. Good luck with the Qoobi!
