I drink a lot of 8 o clock also. Drinking some now with almond milk but every now and then I add fresh cream. I also grind my own beans using a bodum burr grinder and drink a Jamaican blend from fresh market very often also. Going to order some from New Guinea when I run low because I hear its very good for the money spent. My only thing to add is try a french press. Very good coffee!!

Emotiva A-300? Im listening to gretta van fleet as we speak while the wifes gone and neighbors are gathering with pitch forks so it is working! 150 x 2 is getting the job done nicely. Some like more impressive names on their toys but this amp tickles the crap out of me. Im using the 280fs also.

The specs on their amps are impressive! I just looked.

Anyone ever heard them? They make some strong claims. Different approach for sure.

I love music that sounds good to my tin ear and is lively. Like they are in the house. Some spend tons of money on a system that might turn an audiophiles head but I'm about the music not having the very best equipment. Glad you made a convert. Im sure he was very surprised!! I only have a about 2500 dollars in my system but it sounds great to me and most of the reason is the klipsch speakers at the end of the chain. Peace!

I just saw them on the canuck stereo site. Not thinking of buying. Just I had never heard of speaker lab making a copy of the k horn.

They are on canuck audio sale site. Anyone know about these. Price is around 1000 dollars.

I have noticed afew say they would rather have the rf63 over the rp280f speakers. What are the differences in sound and do any feel its the other way around sound wise. Just wonder what the 63 does that the 280 doesn't? Also who has heard both.

We had a foundry a few blocks from my house growing up. Staples foundry. I had a few things from there. Dad had a plate on front of the car from there. I don't recall what it said. I love the little dog door stops and I'm sure most the mid to older folks on the site knew someone with one. I cook with dutch ovens when camping some and thats a lot of fun. I like smoking meat and and dutch oven cooking because of how good it smells and drives people nuts. I recall as a child smelling my neighbor grilling and how left out I felt when my friends father would call them home to eat. I guess it had a lasting effect lol!

Thanks for the tips. I season in the oven every now and then. Ive just started looking for older door stops also. I use a kettle bell for a doorstop to keep from hitting my one speakers now so thats what got me to start looking. Hubley is a great old brand. I guess this could be thought of as stereo related if it protects my speakers right!

Bass pros carry a lot also. I have a 6 inch lodge I fry my eggs in. Best crispy fried eggs ever. Its getting a lot of buildup on it from using. I need to throw it in a pile of burning leaves like mom used to do to clean it up.

Yes its cast. A repo for sure but I like it. Mine is little different than the one posted after I looked better. Its like this one.I guess I'm old school. All I cook with is cast iron. This is easy. For the price the 280s. For the looks the 7ii and most likely for the sound the 7iii. i have the 280s and they sound great for the money. I like the Klipsch badges also.

Opened a few gifts because I'm working christmas. I got some things I really liked but thought it was a great smaller gift. Looks nice setting by the system. I like it so well! When using cds its below 0 db at 8000 hz and spotify above 0. I get by the tweeter and turn the 8000 hz down to where the harsh sound goes away but the sparkle is still there. Don't have to mess with the lower 3 much after setting. I have 20hz at 2 o'clock 400z at 1oclock and 2000hz flat most the time with the rp280s, 8000hz goes from 9 oclock to about 3 o'clock based on the recording and weather its a cd,tuner, or spotify. It is truly fine and it will stay in the full time. Im sure some get I like it and I'm done preaching. It is something I hope others try.

Im using my headphone right now and smoking a butt on the weber smokey mountain. Just listening to Vincennes U station. Using the loki as we speak!

Do you have or know someone with another pair of speakers to try with the marantz to see if they sound bad?
