I was gokgn to ask that as well, what is your crossover frequency on the sub? If you have it crossed over really low, that would make sense why you feel that music has no bass and movies shakes the pictures off the walls and breaks them. Raise your crossover frequency as high as 80 hz slowly. Also, do you have a phase on the sub? Make sure your speakers and subs are in phase so that you don't have cancelation as certain frequencies and or emphasis in others.

I suspect Bluetooth may be the problem. Try the same source using some some of line level connection and see if there is a difference. I would guess the answer would be yes.

Put your hand on the sub and make sure it is actually on. Check your source and make sure the eq is flat. Check the display of the receiver and make sure it shows the sub on the front during music (most will show what speakers are on). You may have to individually set the "speakers" to play separately under each mode. Movies tend to have the bass quite boosted at certain frequencies for that rumble effect you speak of. If you play a bass heavy song you know and it lacks bass notably, it is Def a setting IMO or like previous post said, sub may be off.

I think many will say kp 301 II. I haven't heard them, but I'm moving to the pro line myself after hearing so many rave reviews. I think many would also pick the chorus II over the Cornwall due to the cleaner bass and better midhorn, not to mention the smaller footprint. If it were my money, I would go KP 301 II. Those rarely pop up around me. I guess it depends on your listening habits as well as I am sure the pro stuff sounds awesome turned up (more than the other two) . Whereas, I know the Cornwalls sound great even at very low volumes. After owning Chorus IIs as well, they sounded better with the volume up a little to get those stiff 15s moving and the sound well blended from top to bottom. This has just been my experience however.

Hmmm. 3 feet distance between the speakers I'm sure is plenty right 🤔 haha? I won't have that problem as the dbs rise and would in fact welcome it. Getting them through the door may be the problem.... Why I just went second best from the jubes....

You are stating that a strong phantom center is present with the jubes being spaced 24 feet and that a center was not required, correct?

I know the name boulder (haven't heard anytjing from the company) . We used bryston 4B and up, as well as crown macro reference amps in the studio I was in. D75s many know as well. When you are happy with them, let me know if I am welcome. That is an interesting combo for power but I bet it sounds great.
