  1. As to what I expected. Still spinning on the decks and rocking out with the KP302s. Now, almost 0300 my time , deep house projecting from the speakers, garage door shut..... (10 or so left In the crowd).
  2. Oh good, someone is still awake. There is a reason Cornwalls are in My room and not LA scalas or k horns. I have had BOTH in the Same room. Cornwalls are far easier to place and have much more extended bass and better top to bottom balance and easier listening for all genres IMO. Again this is in a SMALLER room. My room is open concept with bedrooms and the kitchen /dining room. Your results may vary.
  3. And where are you from? I'm rarely awake at this time. Hint, it's 0206 my time....
  4. I didn't bother to read through all the posts. USED B&K processors and or multi channel amps IMO are an amazing bargain.
  5. Dont bridge anything for outdoors that you don't NEED to, get a "full range" set of PA speakers that you can live with, OR float them over a pair of subs or one beastly sub. You have many options. Do it right or regret the results. Voice that to your client. I have alway done that upfront and rarely, if ever had complaints. I am gonna throw a work party soon with a SINGLE pair of the KP302 speakers that I kept and No subs. I'll be spinning on the decks and stuff them in the corners and I guarantee you I will get nothing but compliments. This party will be easily 200+ at full volume. I easily have much more available if need be (but I won't beitn them) . I want to test The pair of speakers solo. I think it can EASILY. Depends on your audience and venue.

    Haha. Welcome to TEXAS 👍
  7. I have experienced the same with Powered pro speakers in the past.. Me thinks high gain staging and low SNR out of the box will do the trick. That is BEFORE the introduced source.... Powered for the most part certainly isn't for me anymore (mostly) . Too many issues.
  8. Why does everyone think Cornwalls are boomy? I probably have the LEAST ideal setup for them and COULDN'T DISAGREE more. I have ZERO boominess and a small room. Are the folks stating This those thay CURRENTLY own what they are commenting on? I am....

Haha ramp tha boost son! You can never have enough spool too early, or late.
  10. Glad for you my friend. I am GUESSING they learned as a company from previous MULTIPLE well documented screw ups here. (if u save $100 on shipping, all will be well right?)
  11. He jumped his price shortly after I posted this. In CA these are CHEAP. Our prices IMO do NOT follow your table. I frequently see similar advertised for $1000+
  12. Like I said, modify the outlet(isolated) . It is CHEAP. Tap into what you have available on your electrical box. Dedicated 20 amp is more than enough for most people. Buy a cheap used line conditioner. Problem solved. Sounds great. Audio advisor has a relatively affordable Pangea line. I always run amps and Preamp straight into the wall". Everything else goes into the same outlet isolated on the line conditioner so as to not interfere. Hope that helps.
  13. No venue is off limits, just pick up half of the package and you will be good to go for just about anything.
  14. It usually isn't very expensive if you are comfortable with wiring up your own electrical, to get a DEDICATED 30 amp outlet and split it into a dual duplex setup and then all current, noise and other problems will vanish. I highly advise that and you will notice a difference IMO. I'm sure others would be happy to say otherwise, but this has been my experience (even currently).
  15. First things first plug all equipment into same outlet. Use a ground plug lifter ($2 from home depot). With a bit of patience and trying same outlet, different outlet, one ground lifted, both grounds lifted, you will find a magic combo (if there are no problems with your gear; it doesn't sound like it if cables solve the problem). I had a LARGE PA system. It was almost silent when I lived in one place. When I moved into another, CRAZY GROUND LOOP. Took me 2 hours, patience and less than $10 to solve the problem there....
  16. Amazing setup. The sacrifice is absolutely worth the investment in my opinion. I wish you a speedy sale. You will be able to replace with a nicer setup I'm sure eventually. GLWS
  17. I am close enough I suppose. About 3 hour round trip. You are a bad (good) influence. Thanks. Have other business to attend to on the day off. Back to work tomorrow.
  18. Saw that as well. Have no idea if it's available. I'm not interested as I have no space or need, otherwise, I would buy them
  19. Not mine. Thought I'd share. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/ele/d/klipsch-cornwalls-pair/6705527171.html Someone grab em quick.
  20. I agree with you there man. They do come up here and there you just have to frequently search.
