  1. @mikebse2a3 and @richieb ; those are AWESOME! Thanks!
  2. Hi richieb. Thanks a lot! But ... thought these 904's are only "slightly" larger than CW's ( same width, +2 inches deep, about (?) the same height excl the 510 horn ... yeah; 50 lbs heavier). Cheers, Emile
  3. Awesome! Thank you SIR! Yeah; just planning on using these instead of my Cornwall's Only have about 30 inch on each side of my tv vs 40 inch for the 402's ... on small wall ... then 2 ft wall on the left and couple of reel to reel's and AV (build-in) rack on the right Yeah ... and my wife will kill me if they look like industrial black boxes Guess I could "plywood" and fill in the corners and then veneer Thanks and Cheers, Emile
  4. Nah ... guy is a "reseller" and not interested in "service." Hoping to hear from experts like @Cinema_head , @Scrappydue, @The Dude, etc .... Thanks! Emile
  5. Thanks ... no clue ... hoping someone would recognize the xo's
  6. Hi All, Trying to get some advise on KPT-904 speakers. Read many threads for hours/days and it seems everyone "loves" these speakers. @jwc found an eBay listing for K401/510 horns ( see thread "Ebay K402 and K510 with drivers" ) and I thought It might be interesting but later figured out I just do not have enough room for a pair of K402 horns (unless I turn them 90 degrees which seems "wrong." . Then @The Dude showed the seller also has a pair of KPT-904's ... see https://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Professional-KPT-904-940-SW-Dual-15THX-Driver-b-c-HF-Drivers-Pair/202163924574?_trkparms=aid%3D888007%26algo%3DDISC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D44040%26meid%3D9f2e4dbd0c734c9db455d2d732c6ada0%26pid%3D100009%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26sd%3D192422774923&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982 . Since I am "local" to this seller, thought I might pick them up (after checking with the forum). Currently running Cornwall I's with a Marantz 2252B, coupled with an Onkyo AVR 7.1 with Klipsch Forte's, and a variety of KG's (3.2, 5.2, 1.5 ...) Thought I'd replace my Cornwall's with these KPT-904's But ... not sure if it is "plug and play" with the crossovers ... see pic Appreciate your advise. Thanks a lot! Cheers, Emile PS. WAF on these is "low." Probably will have to (walnut) veneer boxes and fabricate grilles to make them "acceptable." Anymore advise? Thanks a lot!
  7. Hi Dude, thanks a lot for the advise. But guess I got "us" confused when I mentioned my Cornwall's. Was hoping to just use the 402/510 unit as a stand-alone mid/hi speaker and was hoping it did not need additional crossovers. Thanks and cheers, Emile
  8. Interesting as i am close enough to "pick these up" , but hoping to get some feedback Completely new to Jubilee/402/510 setups but started reading up on those about a week ago as I learned of their "superior" sound from a couple of posts. And ... it seems the 402 horns are the main cause for it. So; guess I could build a box for them and put them on top of my Cornwall's ... ??? Couple of questions please ... 1. Have "space" concerns; anyone know how "deep" these 402 horns are? 2. Says "with crossover" ; would this be a crossover for BOTH, i.e. can I just hook my amp (have a spare Marantz 1060) up to it or would I need an additional crossover? Appreciate your thoughts! Cheers, Emile
  9. Hi Spark12 ... interested (and I am in St Petersburg). Pics please. Re-veneered with walnut??

    What I Got Today!

YEAH ... had to celebrate with a glass of wine
  11. Welcome Just finished an "affordable" tube amp kit - Bob Latino's VTA ST70, which basically is a modern version of the Dynaco ST70. ( See http://www.tubes4hifi.com/home.html ). Cost is about $900 or $1200 with all available upgrades and per reviews as good as $2000-$4000 amps. Probably took me 20 hours (and many bottles of wine). Sound is supposed to be exceptional ( no clue yet; just finished the kit and it's hooked up to cheap bookshelf speakers for testing ). Bob's support is EXCEPTIONAL - made a stupid wiring error which he promptly corrected via email. If you want to spend more, he's also got an ST120 and monoblock amps. All are available as kits or as "finished" units. Cheers, Emile

    What I Got Today!

Finished my Bob Latino VTA ST70 tube amp. Had made a wiring error but Bob was AWESOME and pointed out my "stupidity." To anyone interested in building one of Bob's kits I would say "GO." His support is just OUTSTANDING! But ... it sounds like crap. OK; JUST KIDDING; sounds like crap since it is hooked up to a cheap set of Bose bookshelf speakers and an even cheaper Pioneer AM/FM tuner with a 6 inch wire as an antenna But it takes at least 100 hours to "burn in" the tubes ... can't wait to put it on my Cornwall's or Forte's

    What I Got Today!

Yeah; guess it's pocket change, but don't want to start another project (trying to finish my Bob Latino ST70 tube amp) And ... from the pics I think they are "oak." Got my Forte I's in walnut which is sooo much nicer Think I'll hold off for a couple of days ... and buy them if they are still available next week. Cheers, Emile

    What I Got Today!

Thanks; I have NO clue Plus ... kind of worried about buying this from a "flea-market" guy ... believe they think anything that is not "completely destroyed,"is labeled as in "very good condition." Cheers, Emile

    What I Got Today!

Hoping to get some feedback. Found a pair of Forte II's (think they are II's ) on my local CraigsList. Only $250 (about 1/3rd what I paid for my Forte I's ) Listing at https://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/ele/d/12-inch-klipsch-speakers-with/6431651558.html . Think it is worth pursuing? Thanks and Cheers, Emile
  16. Thanks for the "excuse." Opening up a bottle of wine now Cheers, Emile
  17. Yes; great choice when the snow hits ... or for us in Florida when the temp drops below 60 degrees
  18. Absolutely grand, unsurpassed, unbelievable, incomparable, distinguished, unparalleled, outstanding, momentous, supreme, awesome! (And the same applies to your "other rooms ) My compliments SIR! I raise my glass to you! Cheers, Emile
  19. Ha, ha ... show me yours and I'll show you mine

    What I Got Today!

OK; "I am an old fart." But ... still can hear 20Hz to 17kHz ... and even more after some wine

    What I Got Today!

Glad it worked for you ... Got new crossovers for my Cornwall I's and "no difference." Guess I'm one of the "lucky" people who's crossovers were "perfect" even though they were 30 yrs old But ... got Bob's tweeters and Ti diaphragms and very happy with those
  22. Yeah; know how you feel ... I'm in Florida ... 80 year old's on the street that should not be driving ... plus the temp is about 58 degrees ... seems like ICE on the roads
  23. Jeez; you have to "crawl" in your space? How do you place speakers in it? Cheers, Emile

    What I Got Today!

AWESOME! If you don't like it you can ship it to me

    What I Got Today!

Still working (no; awaiting a part ) on my Bob Latino VTA ST70 amp. So ... nothing else to do and was searching auctions, etc. Found a B&K Components Reference 30 preamp. Seller is delivering it tomorrow (yeah; paid him extra ... did not want to screw with rush hour traffic in the Tampa Bay area). No clue if it is worth anything But ... the original MSRP was $2800 Anyone familiar with these?
