  3. Good topic. I was just thinking of using of something other than the vpi brush. For some Its to much. A few grand on cd's and a few on lp's . I would like only one format. Don't get me wrong I love both but vinyl sucks up funds fast... once your hooked your hooked and that can be scary. I just picked up some cd's (dicks picks) for the first time in must be over a year but spent three grand in the last year on MUST HAVE vinyl. It's a comitment some just are not willing to take.
  4. Hay guys Funny thing. I have a pair of 87 cornwall II's Plywood construction with mitered corners and birch veneer. The plywood edges are also veneered on the front. Not on the back though. The tag says CW-II-BR. S/N 8707885 /86. I thought Klipsch was using mdf by then for the cornwalls. I wonder what I have hear?

  7. Hay all Ken is with Simply Stero now. Rod is the owner and the guy you will have to talk to if you want to buy the k-horns. I use to frequent the store and have found some good deals on used Heresys and the Cornwalls that I have now. To bad there is not much in they way of great amps to demo them K-horns on . I think they are hooked up to an adcom amp no tubes what so ever. But the guys there are great though and willing to work with you.
  8. They will not be out with ref. stuff until 2005 and the design may change from what Klipsch says in a fax sent to my local dealer. Though I also hear new stuff will be out early summer I can't rember what though. Yea it all looks sharp though.

  13. O well . What uses a 6sn7-gt tube ? I have 3 rca and one sylvania . Also 1 rca 5Y3 1 each of 12au7 sylvania, rca,and allied any one who wants these is welcome to them. I found them at a garage sale. I got a box of about 50 tubes for 10$ I did not know much about them and tossed most of them just kept some input tubes. O well

  15. Thanks all. It sounds fantastic I can't get over it. Yea it's pretty too . I would got it even if it was not. My first choice was an airtight atm1 but it sold so I got this one. I am happy with it.

  18. I just got it today. So far I am very pleased with it. It has brand new Svetlana 6L6's in it so got to break them in. It cas also use el34's and kt66's from what I understand. Input tubes are ecc83 and ecc85 .Any good tube suggestions? Has any one heard the 834 phono stage? I was thing of getting it down the road.
  19. Hear is a site about some mods for the 302b http://www.themorgue.org/audio/jolida-302b/ I agree with most of what mobile said about the 302b. It sounds very nice on cornwalls and the heresy. It's was great first tube amp for me but left me wanting something more.
