I suspect you are like me and rely somewhat on reviews and ratings when buying online. They are there for a reason...or, at least they are supposed to be. What you wrote is honest and evenhanded caused the seller to do the right thing. In my opinion, you did the right thing, too.

Yeah, that's a lot of extra stuff that could be tough to get rid of. The pick-up site is literally 10 minutes from me and I would be happy to meet a shipper there to coordinate loading, etc., but I don't really know how much help I could be beyond that. Now, if it was just the speakers, we might be bidding against each other...LOL

No plans to head east in the foreseeable future. I could conceivably coordinate shipping, if that helps.

I power my Fortes with a 1060 and love the combination. New, they will be far out of your price range, but you might find a used set of 1s or 2s.

I wonder what cables they use/recommend? 😄
