I have watched these 2 videos of the most authentic reactions that actually have meaning

‘And I will go back to the channel to see a few more

The live version. Haha. double necked guitar in D not A minor as the song is written in. The guitar is tuned funky. The other neck is in standard tuning. The other thing is Bonzo is not in 4/4 he is making triplets in a whole different timing that resembles 4/4/ looks more like - triplet for two bars, triplets for two more bars, 4/3 for two bars, with a 4/4 at the close. Its insane, how his timing is counted x,x,Y, and 4 you can hear it without vocal (stairway lies on the whispering wind..) and at the bridge. iirc for the live version.

I was just about to post this. I am glad I took a look first. Someoen said. Pompeii hasn't changed. My response is: oh, yes it has:

David Gilmour's version is far more complete. I can and have only listened to this one track. It is so good that I have all but, stopped listening to the original and or versions that are not this. Problematic. I know.

Riddenour on the High G. The bass its transformational the cymbals crashs' are like the frolicking of feet on the water. The bass is like the jellyfish or dolphin beneath the water tickling the feet of the runner as they splash into a carnival of sound that terraces itself in transitions of three (triumvirate). The wandering bass is one. The frolicking bass is two. Then there is the solo. Its all resets again, and again.

The drum not possessing bass floor tom for grounding the sound. It remains airy, aloft, aloof almost. Each part signaling a section of itself; as, yet, becoming and then is. Powerful. A big tent with kaleidoscopic features (astronimae Dominae 'ish in its presentation) where the carousel triggers a larger tent. Then, an even greater one. That very large tent houses the guitar. That guitar holds the truth of the solo. The solo that has not changed in over forty years.

My, my the alarm clock just went off!  Time to wake up and kick back!  :)  That last one will run a bit.  😂  Kick back boys...

A few years back I did a security gig. They were the main act among several stages and days of acts. It was the final day and a Brewery owner, Master brewer and Master Brewer's wife had the good fortune to have me escorting them beyond the ropes, up close. Like, at the stage inside the barricades. They were eye level to stage monitors. The wife she blew a gasket. That guitar and those vocals. Could not blame her one bit. I drank the brewer's beer. Cheers!

I met and spent a moment or two with the King Family and took in a show at a major U.S. City. My pass gave me access and I remember that a woman from Ohio asked me to go and get a Picture of Mr. King on stage. I said, O.K.. I took the camera and walked near the stage and popped off a few shots. Mr. King was playing and stopped smiled and waved to the camera. I certainly took that picture, too. Returning the camera to the woman, who hugged me and pummeled me and hugged me again. She was over the moon excited about her picture. I thought it was really cool that Mr. King did that too.

Later, I spoke to Mr. King backstage and I remark on his cherished statements about his Dear friend. I listened and he spoke with a warm caring for this man. His name was : Garth. His video is above: Garth Brooks - Shameless. I am appreciative of that day, the opportunity, and all that came from it. Here's to one of the best LEGENDS to be so revered and well thought of - Mr. B.B. King

  7. Subwoofer does it add presence to the low end. Range of Subwoofers are they not complimentary to symphonic input. One adding the low end but, two - adds dimension because it is not in the same location as the main speakers. adding a dimension of depth? no?

Not every subwoofer needs as much amplitude to be imagined in sound.

I had a Peavey Speaker solid state. nice item. I took it a part. Then A sunn tube amplifier 200w per channel. 5150 tubes iirc. Same one Geddi Lee used. Not the one that he used. But same model. I took the sound and hard wired it to the 17 inch speaker from the Sunn amp. The other I went through the solid state and used crossovers to excite my celestion speakers. Then, I put the Peavey in the closet and shut the door. At the right times. you could get some feel from the bass speaker. BUt, the sound came from the four celestions. No popping no jumping from the speakers just a rigorous tone.

My point being is the articulation of sound comes to us from the implements of our understanding and our efforts. What you have between each speaker. Make it work for you. Its best and its worst. Same with my 2011 Ford Focus SES. I dropped the music faded it back 2 notches. So it was given placement in the mix. The front I brought up the Highs to just below max and the bass 4 down from max. sometimes 5. The system had a subwoofer too in the trunk. YOu could also get vibrations in your seat if you selected the option. I drove to Atlanta popped in Jimi Hendrix's BLUES album. entered a whole new world. anyways. I like subwoofers. on clean sonic tones.

    SPeaking of that, Sunn ....

  8. Just got my scolding for the day. My manufacturer - A to Z Media in NY, just informed me that they are not completing my CD order, to be delivered no later than Saturday, March 2.

My CD will not be available until I can make new arrangements. Links are still available. I just don't have completed physical copies to share with the upcoming Birthday Bash, as I said that I would do. The Historians and Advisors were all identified on the mailing section of my account. attendees too! So, for everyone attending the Bash. Best Wishes!

I won't air my grievances. I'll just say "O.K.". That and "Happy Birthday, Everyone!".

  9. So preference for floor models isn't necessarily a thing for most people? I  have seen Heresy IV, and Jubilee systems. probably a few others too. I am still learning. I see the compressions systems with crossovers. That is what I want. I couldn't imagine a system without it in any room. I mean now that I know that they exist.

I was looking to build something similar in reference to a home sound system. I always hated when they talk so low and them ... BLam! something blows up and it shakes everything, including setting off car alarms. Yeah, I really want to see what fun I could have with a $13k floor model.

  10. ask for Dean

I haven't finished the ask and the how. But, definitely get the purple one. Tell them that you listened to my PERFECT INFINITY ALBUM and that you came to buy.

400 Purple guitars have been set aside for this project. T-shirts, Posters, Lacquered Vinyl, and a premium gift (one of Dean's Z-Glide guitars)

  11. @wuzzzerI concede you are correct. I will pick this up tomorrow. Feel free to remove this post. My sincerest for having placed it in a UA area.

Same to everyone. I made another error. I promise to get right. someday.

Thanks for having me. I'll start a thread in the lounge area. Won't be a new member post. It will just be a music thing and a link.

Welcome?  Did you happen to see the description of what this forum section is for?

Yes, I just found it. hmmm. Thanks for the heads up. I was searching for the right area for new members. Not really a technical question so much is it? It can be? Like If I said who do I talk to about making a speaker system? that could help?

    eh.

Welcome to the forum.  Tell us a bit more about yourself if you would.  I'm into Distant Arrivals now,  which seems to have a bit more rythmic definition than the others before it.  Taking me for a bit of a ride whereas the other 3 didn't.  Imma nosin on 'em but have some things to get done outside.  I'll slip back .  Tell us  more about what you're really trying to accomplish and how you're going to do it.  I want some meat and taters on ya!  Again, welcome to the forum.  :)  BTW, a roll of toilet paper is cheaper than tissues.  😂

Dave1291 You described completely the pain of listing individual tracks. I wanted to get a CD with just one track or vinyl the same. As a listening experience. Track 1,2, &3 warmed you up for track 4. Just as track four Bass and Cello was based on Cello and Violin in track 3. When you return should you have the ability to do so. Start from the beginning. By the end it will make more sense.

I taught myself how to read and write music. Took two years. I also recorded some things. I spoke to others about getting those recordings ironed out. Found a few people who put sparkles on those recordings and managed others to join in. Amazing, amazing musicians far better than myself.

Track 1 a guitar. Track 2 guitar and electric guitar. Strings. track 3, violin strings and cello.

I broke all of my gear except what was needed to complete the mixing and mastering. I am done. Not the musician I was; anymore. I am currently seeking my next inspiration.

Time to resurrect this thread and see if anyone wants to contribute.  We all talk about comparing speakers, but lets document our experiences!

I found this picture and remembered when I did this A/B comparison of a Forte vs. Forte II

    Speakers:Forte vs. Forte II

    Room:2 car garage

Electronics: Emotiva pre, Crown K2, Dell computer with WAV files.

Demo Songs: Jimmy Sax-No Man No Cry / Stevie Ray-Chitlins Con Carne / Pink Floyd-Time

I know it was conducted in a less than ideal area, but for me, the original Forte's sounded just a little sweeter to my ears.  Perhaps it's just because I refinished them and liked the darker color, but when I had my better half do the random A/B switching, I picked the Forte every time.

I am new. I don't pretend to be able to do what you do. I can't even begin to know what you know. I am just offering that maybe, from your Dell ( I have an Alienware myself) you can go to a sound card. I am suspecting that you are only cooking on 2 burners with that dell system when 4 is probably a bit more appropriate for what you are cooking. Crown and Emotiva are solid items.

The start is the issue. You never got off the floor from the beginning. Anyways, that is my take. I just recorded an album. I added a Sonnet Chasis with an RME HDSPE AIO external soundcard. For everything that it does to the signal chain. All you need is one Thunderbolt connection to enter a whole new arena of sound. I would suggest the Alienware (not M17 R2) the one above that. It has an additional HD PCie Space.

Good Luck. I like your reviews so far.

  15. Greetings Everyone,

I'll Keep it short. PERFECT INFINITY: Big City (version 6.4.2) is an album of music being manufactured at A to Z Media in New York. The CD should be released this week. I am making my Copyrighted material available for about 90 days. See link above. THIS VERSION IS -3DB, WITHOUT AN ANALOG WARM TONE, prior to recording.

I would like very much for the KLIPSCH Team to test this album on its many different systems.

    My Story goes like this

I received my test presses on vinyl took them to a record store and we listened to them on a set of KLIPSCH speakers. The sound was unlike anything I had heard before. I spent some time mixing and arranging the music. So, I know what I had worked on. Hearing them on KLIPSCH speakers was a real treat. I was absolutely astonished at what came out of those speakers. I was at one point unsure ...what... being played. The record store owner responded and stated that, "The recording did not sound local. It did not sound like it came from one of the recording studios or from a home studio". He said, "it sounded very expensive". Referring to the music mix.

I have since taken the vinyl to other locations and it did not sound anything close to the experience I had before. So, I began to do my research and I contacted your KLIPSCH customer service and asked to have the album tested. I posted in this forum last week and realized I included some things, better left omitted. My error. That post was not approved.

Anyways, should my CDs be ready this week. I will be sure to send a few to the BIRTHDAY BASH and to the HISTORIANS and to the ADVISORS as well. I'm not offering anything. I am just letting you know about my world. Welcome. The music is about 75 mins. I wanted to show to you gratitude and some appreciation.

This is not an advertisement - I wish to offer to the KLIPSCH Team a rare opportunity. The same one that you gave to me. A LISTENING EXPERIENCE. To take a moment out of their day and hear this music album debut, prior to release. THANK YOU! I should not forget this experience anytime soon. As, I am sure; neither will you.

Thank you for having me. I am happy to have joined the forum. I look forward to this experience and look forward to bringing this listening experience to many others through your KLIPSCH Speaker systems - A TRUE LISTENING EXPERIENCE.

    P.S.

(Have a box of tissues ready. If you have never before seen grown men cry. It is not a pretty sight)  🤣🤣🤪
