Ever notice that when you use this [6] little guy, before you click to post it looks like a six in [ ]. When I just put a 6 in the [ ] it also turns out like this[6], had to edit and not put them together.
  2. Hey you do kind of look like Costner ! Glad your wife got you to stop wrestling with guys though ! [{] [}] Just an assumption on my part ? [:$] [6] Sorry , could't help it.
  3. Jackpod what about a dark purple (Tina) , a pink (Madamme Ganna Walska) and a light blue (Blue Dauben) ? It looks like your pond may hold 3, you cant put them to close to that splashing water, they don't like it. Or would you rather all purple or whatever, post what you would want, or if you just want one or two ? I don't know how much water you want to see ? I will send you bare root plants with instructions on how to pot, and what to do. Post here if you have any questions ? Email me or my wife with your address .
  4. Community service, that site has more info than NOAA ! I love Koi, we have had some for about 13 years. We also grow tropical water lilies, both were a Hobie we started when I gave up reef aquariums. We sold Koi for a few years and now just keep them as pets, but the water lilies we are turning into a business. we have put in 10 ponds in the yard We have planted 4 of them so far and are almost ready to plant the rest. There will be only one color Lillie in each pond, the 10 ponds are about 15' by 40' with sand bottoms for propagation. We were growing them in pots but couldn't grow enough to keep up with the demand, so trying something else. We started in the landscaping business about 13 years ago by building garden ponds and water falls, we don't do ponds any more unless someone really wants one. The pond we have in our garden needs to be redone it's about 8 years old and needs some work, just been putting it off.
  5. Fini, you are not normal, but glad to see you are back to your old self. []
  6. Congratulations, so what does #1 think of the addition ?
  7. Yes but it's still fun because it's yours !
  8. That's what I thought, but glad your going to DIY..........Don't get a hernia !.
  9. It was a hard decision between the first choice and the last, but chose the first ! But it may be smart to find out what it's worth first.
  10. DrWho the Department of agriculture says it's California's # 1 crop , to bad they can't figure out where the $ going or they would tax it, instead of paying to try and enforce the laws !
  11. Smart move there Mr colter, those big speakers don't move very easy !
  12. Fini I know you live in sunny California, I know it's pretty liberal out there but you might not want to announce that you are going to harvest your winter weed crop ! [H] Hope you are feeling better Mr Fini !
  13. Just love the way those look, very unusual to say the least ![Y]
  14. " Ever since the wedding it's been party- travel- travel- party. I guess it's gonna be about a gazillion degrees in LA this summer and you'll have to tough it out in the landscaping biz. " It is always HOT here in the summer and this work does get very tough in the heat, but it's work, just not as much fun. We worked 3 whole, OK 5 hour days this week, that's the most days in a row I worked since I seen you Michael. We will be working steady for 2 or 3 more weeks then take a little break and start over on the next job but that one will only take a week, then another break. I tell people I am retired, and it really ticks Christy off ! To give you a better idea we did 4 jobs this one we are on is the 5th job SINCE WE WENT TO HOPE LAST YEAR ! And the average job is less than 2 weeks ! We like time off !......... We both had jobs in the past where we worked plenty enough hours, now the time off is worth much more then the $ we would make doing more jobs. It's more like work, party, party, relax, listen to music, relax, party, ..............a couple months later work, and repeat ! We are not going to live forever so I don't even plan to spend 50% of my time left working, and we have been probably way less than 20%, but we have plenty of time to be together and do whatever we want. Also we don't work all the time, so it's still FUN for us even after 13 years, hard but fun !
  15. That was very good Daddy Dee, looks like they had a good time too.
  16. Welcome back, I didn't know who it was at first, then I seen the WIN on the bottom.
  17. And you hand her alot, you old fart...............My wife could care less about the equipment, thinks I should grow up, yeah, me too, but let me play something she likes, and it's turn it up..........So, I do, unlike dtel, I do what I'm told............[].....EH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I do give her alot, but in the end I also do what I am told, in the long run it's the easier way to go ! [A]

I hAve nO iDea what yAll are talking aBout ?
  19. I have only heard the Heresy l's once, and I thought the lll's sounded much better to me. Others with more experience with these will be able to give you a better assessment, I have not listened enough to give you fair advice, to be honest. But I did really like the sound of the lll's, there was no question about that. I would imagine they would have more bass than the 4" Fostex speakers you have , but I have never heard them so just guessing on that. Should get some more replies that offers more help, good luck what ever you do !
  20. Sorry to hear that the new Lascalas sound great. Yes she likes them as much as I do, she loves music, especially if it's music she can dance to. I am very lucky to have her, and not just because she likes a room full of Klipsch ! And she putt's up with with my [bs] !
  21. I would say Hersey lll first choice Cornwall second if size is a problem. What kind of music do you like, use a sub ? The Heresy lll would be light on the bass compared to a Cornwall, that's why I asked about the sub ? The H lll uses the same mid and high freq drivers as the Cornwall lll, and they sound great, like I said though a little light on the bass, but sound very nice, ask anyone that has heard them. IMHO
  22. Years ago she did not care for any of this stuff. Then when I started looking to get back into this hobby right after " pro logic " died and true 5.1 was the new thing. I started looking for a new set of 6 speakers, I got her involved looking and comparing different brands. The more we looked the more she learned, we ended up with some Klipsch Synergy for about a year, then when we started with the first pair of Forte ll's she was completely hooked. Gave the Synergy to a relative and hunted more Forte's. Six Forte's later we go to a little town called Hope to meet some people, listen to some music and take a tour of a plant. While there at this farmhouse listening to some music this company, you may know them '' Klipsch ", decides to give away a prize ? Who new, well the picked my name [:|], that was the actual look on my face, then they told me what I won, Cornwall lll's, I almost fell out my chair, really. Then my face looked like this [], It still does when I look at them or play them or just think about that weekend ! So now it's 6 Forte's, 2 Cornwall lll's and a sub in the living room, and she wants MORE ! So the moral of the story is get your wife involved, go to a Pilgrimage , YOU NEVER KNOW ! Thanks Klipsch, and all the nice people we met there and on this forum ! [Y]
  23. dtel are you referring to my system or my wife? I was talking about the moose or elk, whatever that thing is your wife is standing by, but both are very nice looking ! [Y]
  24. Hope it works out great for you, I was wondering the same thing DrWho asked ? The increase in volume will not any extra damage ? I know without a doubt I need some myself.
  25. I would guess you will love the Cornwall lll, they sound better than the previous models, also very nice collection you have listed .[Y]
