I seen this phenomenon several times now. Chris It's true my niece came over about a week ago and my wife asked "you heard the new speakers yet" she said no and walked over to the forte ll sitting "on" the MWM/402 and said I thought these were the same ones we used when I lived here? I guess she thought the MWM was a stand for the forte ? [:S]

Congratulations those look great and I know they sound great, and all the work you have done testing with the room and new TAD driver it must be very close to perfect. Most people never spend much time on the room but like me it's much harder to understand what the room is doing to the sound to even know what to do about it. I love the way you dressed your Jubs up, very nice job looks like a totally different animal.

Oh that must have hurt [:$] Don't feel bad a few days ago I was watching an amp that normally sells for $150 used sitting at $47 with seconds left. The only thing wrong with it was the power cord was cut off, I quickly typed in $48 and within a couple of seconds of the end I hit enter, then it was over. The $47 bid won I couldn't figure out what happened, I finally noticed in a rush I forgot to hit confirm this bid ! dumbass

Our neighbor has a security light on his barn, I asked him one day what's the deal with the light, his answer surprised me, he said " my wife is scared of the dark ". She asked him to put up the light to light part of there yard because she was always thinking how dark it was out there and it bothered her ! [:S]

Had a few clouds the first night but was able to watch last night. parked a 20' trailer by the house, the trailer has 24" sides, so when you put some blankets down to lay on it blocks out any local lights from neighbors. After a few minutes your eyes adjust, we watched for about an hour and seen about 40 meteors, some very short and kind of dim, some across most of the sky and bright. Overall it was more than we would see on the average night and most were out of the north to northeast.

Now that's optimism. [Y]

Done that when playing around with the MWM's, it is amazing how BAD each section sounds [+o(] BUT together it's great ! [] Listening to each section separately HI Hi / Low Low you would think there is a big hole in the middle until you release the mute button, the Dx is an amazing crossover, so much versatility.

W O W I would think it's not the last you see of him !

DIY, can you do a little woodworking to save about 75% and get exactly what you want ?

Everyone even a couple hundred miles from the coast watches and here all the local news has nothing else on if something is within range, you need at least 2 days to get out, any later and you will just sit on the interstate. We were lucky for katrina they had estimated 140 mph sustained winds where we live. We don't stay if it's over like a cat 2, but we don't flood here so all we have to worry about is the wind. I built the house myself, I know the house it strong but I still thought we would at least lose the metal roof but we had no damage, one neighbor lost his barn and his roof and the neighbor across the street lost his barn roof also, we were lucky ! We live in the country both of those neighbors are about 600 and 900 feet away the next is a few thousand feet away.

That Cherry looks really nice, I had some of the older black SB 3's and they were not nearly as nice as those, that's much better than the older Synergys. [Y]
