Browninggold 3 Posted February 12, 2011 Going to be using 70% blu-ray/30% music. I have a 7.1 setup and had 3 Aperion 6Ts across the front and sold them. Just cannot wait to get the 7s and set them up. What can I expect with 3 across the front. Hopefully this will end my speaker purchasing for a long time. I was thinking of B & W CM9 lines for the front or JTR 12HTs. I will post pictures this coming week.
FSUBALES 1 Posted February 12, 2011 Thats Awesome.... I Have The new RF-7II with RC-64II and it sounds amazing. I could only imagine what 3 would sound like. Let us know.....
Frank1938 43 Posted February 12, 2011 What can I expect with 3 across the front With the right amp(s), they should drive you right out of the room. Congrats on your purchase.
Browninggold 3 Posted February 12, 2011 Yeah I am getting excited. I currently have a PB 13 Ultra and 4 Aperions 5 series for surrounds. What would be 4 good surrounds to pair them with and Timbre matched by Klipsch? I have a Denon 3808CI and a Emotiva XPA-3 to run the towers. The 4 surrounds are wall mounted. Thanks
Frank1938 43 Posted February 12, 2011 would be 4 good surrounds to pair them with and Timbre matched by Klipsch The RS-7 was made to match the RF-7. For the rears, use an RB"?. I would check with Klipsch to see what they recommend for use with the RF-7II.
Rivernuggets 913 Posted February 12, 2011 Congrats! Very cool. [Y] Rarely hear of three 7s for a front stage, and here it's the newest model. Tell us what you think when they are set up.
FSUBALES 1 Posted February 12, 2011 I Have the RB-81II and they sound amazing and when i want to have a movie night i bring my RF-25 towers up for 7.1 and then the fun beggins. I think sticking with any of the new RFII would be your best bet. and I would definatly go with the RS-62II. They are made to be wall mounted where other Klipsch speakers are not made to be mounted directly to a wall.Enjoy
Browninggold 3 Posted February 16, 2011 They arrived...I would post pictures but cannot figure out how. Maybe I am too excited

Browninggold 3 Posted February 16, 2011 The cats are declawed though I still may get some scaaat away to keep them a few feet from the speakers
Big Dog 0 Posted February 16, 2011 How does having 3 Towers compare to having 2 Towers and a center. The cost is slightly more for the 3 Towers, but aren't the center channels designed for the dialog portion of Movies.
Browninggold 3 Posted February 17, 2011 When I had my Aperion front stage 6Ts and 6C I came across this article and did some research on my own. http://forum.blu-ray.com/speakers/89614-horizontal-center-channel-speakers-why-they-should-avoided.html and it did sound better having 3 matching speakers. If you do not have room then get a horizontal. To my ears 3 perfectly matched speakers sound better. really a seamless front stage.
Pete H 2212 Posted February 17, 2011 Nice purchase! I have a friend that purchased those Aperion's and then I got my 7's and the look on his face when he came over and heard them for the first time was shocking when I played some of his favorite cd's. Browninggold 3 Posted February 17, 2011 I hear you. The Aperions were not bad, but these boys blow them out of the water
FSUBALES 1 Posted February 17, 2011 What do you plan on going with as far as surrounds?
Browninggold 3 Posted February 17, 2011 Going to start with 2 RS-62IIs for a 5.1 and if that sounds alright I will not worry about the back 2-but I do have wires ran back there. May put up 2 RB-81IIs to make a 7.1.
