USNRET
Today I returned early from a detachment due to an untimely, early loss of life by one of our pilots. Jim (James Litz, former Naval Aviator and current Customs and Border Protection P-3 pilot) was found lying on a darkened ramp, away from home in a foreign country returning to the aircraft from filing a flight plan. Resuscitation efforts by our crew and responding EMTs were unsuccessful. The 'silver lining', if indeed there is such a thing, is that Jim was scheduled for the left seat making the takeoff on this mission. Had the good Lord not taken him when he did it could have been even more disastrous on the take off roll with a full crew on board. May Jim's soul rest in peace. Boxx
I will, as will many Klipsch Forum members, pray for the "repose of the soul" of Jim. God bless Jim and his service to our country.... Boxx...
