tigerwoodKhorns
Wow. My thoughts exactly. The CF-4 is a fun party speaker. Dave What do you mean by party speaker? I know that they are supposed to have really good bass. Anyone know what frequency the horn is tuned to? I read that this was one of Roy's earlier uses of a larger horn. One last thing, which ones are the desirable ones? I seem to remember something like the port leng and crossovers (and horns) differing between versions. 001
series one are the "better" ones with 6" ports. looking at the pics of these they are definantly the 2.5" ports, series 2 or 3. still a great deal.

This speaker does have good bass, with respectable mids and highs as well. Speakers all seem to have their strengths, The CF-4's play loud and clear, truck loads of energy - perfect for a good party. Montego
Turns out that these do not have the original HF drivers. Does anybody know how much that may affect the sound? He has the original drivers but they need repair. That cost $125 per driver on Crites website.

Montego
No sir. I don't know enough about the drivers to understand the effects of replacing them with an unknown. Probably missed a good deal as usual.
