japosey
Up for sale is a used pair of Klipsch Reference RS-7 surround speakers in great condition. As you can see, there are no dents or dings in the cabinets. They've been fully tested and found to be in excellent working order. I have noticed a couple of blemishes. The vinyl on one corner has wrinkled and there appears to be a slight crease or indention in one of the cones. Neither is very noticeable, but I do like to give full disclosure. Gorm
The vinyl is a common problem on all RS-7s. It will only get worse, and eventually shrink all the way around the cabinet.

I've had mine about 7 or 8 years with no problems. Guess I'm lucky.

I've had mine about 7 or 8 years with no problems. Guess I'm lucky. I had a set that so badly shrank that I endd up pulling it off and refinishing the top and bottom. It may have to do with Sunlight...if they are in a dark room, I'll bet the shrinkage is not an issue.

That's why I get dressed in the dark You may be on to something Jason. Neither of mine ever get any direct sunlight.

jjptkd
The RS-7's are fantastic surround speakers. I had a pair of RS-3's that the vinyl peeled off on, seemed like the glue just gave up?
