derrickdj1
As far as the image, the sound is in the front stage with perceptual cues coming from the right and left portion of the sound stage. I can say the sound is rarely foucused at the speaker. The point I am trying make is that what we hear as a lot to doing distace between speakers, MLP, room and other variables. I bet most people with those big Khorn don't keep looking to the corners, lol. Edited April 2, 2015 by derrickdj1
Moderators Youthman Posted April 2, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted April 2, 2015 I bet most people with those big Khorn don't keep looking to the corners, lol. Exactly! That's why I'm puzzled as to why this is seeming "wrong" to some. Lol
Frzninvt
My Klipschorn's imaged so well when I ran them in two channel you would swear that the center La Scala was playing. They did this regardless of the amplifier that was connected to them. Amps don't image speakers do, they should amplify and nothing more. To say the Acurus amplifier is lesser quality than the receiver's internal amplifier is BS. Edited April 2, 2015 by Frzninvt
Moderators Youthman Posted April 2, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted April 2, 2015 I understand amps may not image but I get imaging with either situation. I'm referring to sound stage width only that is changing
Mallette
My Klipschorn's imaged so well when I ran them in two channel you would swear that the center La Scala was playing. I had a sub in the center for a while a few years back, and a good friend with good ears had to put his ear to it to convince himself that the mono recording wasn't coming from it...
