wvu80
Overnight, it looks like Dallas, Dan Antonio got hammered, with rain to come all day. I know the water is helping to ease the drought, but that's a tough way to do it.
Sancho Panza
Sure it wasn't Mark Dantonio?
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted October 24, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2015 The Austin area got between 4 and 8 inches last night
Ceptorman
The Formula 1 practice was cancelled today in Austin, and they race in the rain. It was so cloudy and dark, the medic helicopter couldn't fly. It was very disappointing. F1 quals are scheduled to start in 30 minutes, 12:30 eastern. I know it's still raining there, but hopefully the overhead clouds will allow for helicopter flight if needed. I actually like F1 rain races, it evens the playing field, and puts the drivers' skill more in control. Sometimes a driver gets his first win in the rain. Maybe someone other than Mercedes will win! wvu80
It is still pretty ugly. That is nasty looking. Sure it wasn't Mark Dantonio? I wish I were perfect and didn't make mistakes like you. (punctuation deliberately left out)
Ceptorman
It is still pretty ugly. Great pic! Are you at the track? Wish I was. At least they're on track
oldtimer
I could use more rain here. The ground is wet but hardly soggy.
