Mallette
Thanks to Elon Musk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5bTbVbe4e4 A major event for the US, and humanity as a whole. SpaceX will be landing manned Draco capsules softly within a couple of years and don't be surprised if they visit the moon while NASA talks about it. It isn't hard with technology like this. Mallette
As a kid I'd watch the old Flash Gordon serials on TV. I didn't think I'd ever live to see a rocket actually land vertical. Delta Clipper and Blue Origin had done it, but those weren't full scale boosters. This thing is big, and this is a monumental event in space exploration. Just from a business POV, Musk just bought himself a far larger margin on commercial launches. But, if I know Musk, that money will be spent on manned launches and returns. He still has every intention of going to Mars in person. Dave
Ceptorman
It was definitely impressive, the future looks bright.
JJkizak
It almost looked too perfect. Like there wasn't enough thrust as compared to the takeoff, and right into the center of the target. JJK
