jorjen
For the first time in my life I am getting out of vinyl Larry. I have Parkinson's Disease(first time I said that here)and the tremors in my hands are starting to make it somewhat unsafe to be around fine vinyl and delicate cantilevers. Considering a multi-format player like the Oppo BDP-105 or I also have my eye on a used Marantz SA-11S1 SACD/CD player. I am getting out of tubes also and just bought a matching Marantz PM-11S1 Integrated amp. Beautiful stuff. Just sold my Jube Clones to another forum member and bought a pair of '84 La Scalas. So, there you have it. I have come full circle with Klipsch. Started out with a brand new pair of La Scalas when I was 18 and here I am almost 42 years later back to La Scalas. I'm very sorry to hear about your condition and the big step downward that it means for you. However, one can learn to listen through technical perfection issues to hear and attend to the music itself. Just get the best digital equipment you can and enjoy away! J M O N
Very nice! If timing was better I might've considered it. I don't know the situation with your son but be careful with scammers. There are a lot of scams out there and I know someone who was recently scammed out of quite a bit of money.
