ZEUS121996
So 2 of you guys were arguing over who was going to buy these Khorns if they got ot $1500. Well, they are now $1200 on CL http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/ele/5766990665.html NA Mark
wvu80
Khorns for $1200? They are worth easily double that. I wonder what the story is?
ZEUS121996
Dave They aren't worth double that, in that condition I would say $1700 tops. Now about those M drivers LOL Mark
wvu80
I value Khorns from the 70's or newer in good shape in a range from $2000-3500, depending on all the usual variables of condition, year, mods/upgrades, veneer type and location. There is always the oddball price either much higher or much lower. +++ MMmmmmmm good. I know what you're talking about, Mark. I'm just not taking the bait. If I'm buying, then 1200 is way over priced

wvu80
I'm not sure why you guys are devaluing them off $2k. I see a pretty veneer in good shape, assuming all drivers are good, badges included, location is Chicago where there is always an ample supply of Klipsch speakers. A speaker in that shape should go for $2000 all day long, and sell within 3 weeks. Round numbers, fair market value, used: Heresy ~300 Heresy II - ~600 Cornwall ~$900 La Scala ~$1250 Belles ~$2000 Khorns ~$2500
ZEUS121996
Raw birch with not the best finish to them, C collar, the tophat looks like it was painted black and then poorly sanded down $1K will take them home, so offer 800 And Dave, FISH ON!!!!!!! jimjimbo
BTW, Mark knows all of the prices in the Chicago area, because he and Opus have bought and sold all of the Klipsch Heritage and extended Heritage speakers in the local area for the last 5 years, mostly, to each other....

Just wondering how much sheer performance one gets from Belles vs. Khorns & Cornwalls.
