While my finish preference is walnut, I really had my heart set for Forte II's. Since they are the same price I am in a quandary. Need some persuading .... willland Posted September 19, 2016 Share Posted September 19, 2016 IMO, the forte'II is more placement friendly with it's larger tractrix midhorn. Great off-axis listening. The forte' I may take a little longer in set up to get it just "right" and get that great balanced sound that both possess. You can not go wrong with either. The Tractrix midrange in the Forte II is the deciding factor.
