If you are concerned about the large size of the K-402, then smaller horns that I like and MIGHT substitute are JBL 2385 Electrovoice HP640 Klipsch K-510. Again, all this depends on whether it is a two-way or three-way system and what the crossover points are. Good luck, -Tom
whatever55
Can you tell me why.... Looking at what was posted they look possible. It would be a 2 way system. Cut-off frequency: 300Hz Frequency range: 300Hz to 20KHz Driver: 2 inch. or 5 cm throat, TAD 400x or JBL 2441/5/6 or equivalent

I like Tom have tried some of the same horns. I have even tried the EV HP9040 which is my favorite so far, its just too large for my application. So I settled for the 640, when I have enough saved, I will be trying the K402.

That is asking quite a bit of the horn and driver. Yes, there are some that can do it, but they may just be barely so. If you can do a larger horn, then there are other options. That gets us back to a K-402.
J M O N
From the maps in each of the ads posted, it appears these are made in (or at least sold from) Taos, NM. It'd be interesting to hear them.
