Anything that makes me think about why I believe what I believe is a good experience. Had a neighbor once that said she'd discuss religion as long as the person didn't question the mormon church. if they did, she'd shut down. not much discussion there. Sometimes a question is just a question and not an attack.

Dave yes, we are. okay, another beer and cigar for Zen and we'll call it even. I'm excited as all git out for the bump--I'm going to post on topic shit tomorrow! I wanted to resurrect this thread anyway given I've been doing a lot of Covid Couch Traveling on Youtube. Live-cams and folks walking around with decent panning with 4K cameras daily IS like walking around Amsterdam. Paris is the same. 27 minutes ago, BigStewMan said: 11 hours ago, Mallette said: love to discuss theology one of my favorite subjects to talk about. very personal and thus many can't handle anyone questioning their beliefs, which is a shame. Dave probably forgot how much we agreed on alot of things in this realm but we did have some lively discussions which most didn't get too upset on this subject. That was my take and I really miss the sharing of ideas and interpretations. I learned alot about them and myself...

I feel like I've walked or driven through so many places that I've never been. Seems like the past couple of weeks, the commercials have greatly increased on YouTube; but I still love the joint. Plus, I look up places I once lived or visited to see how they've changed. I've done the same on google earth. cheap entertainment!

Why do you assume that? I am NOT getting senile. Still think your favorite modern theologist is full of shit... Dave

Anybody that reads modern theologists needs a cigar, a beer, glasses, and some really good weed. Dave

Dave oh no, classic modernism ... we'll need double of all you mentioned. I'll bite my tongue in the spirit of this forum ... 😀
ssh
Well, there's no harm in reading, but a good cigar and a beer does wonders for the spirit, if you believe in spirits, lol. SSH

Dave I'm not sure who that might be but still feel the DSS she'd more light on Jesus than some of the sources you rely on that didn't know him or live at the same time. Always willing to learn. Mallette
As you well know I rely only on sources that knew him or those who knew those who knew him. They tell the same story. Jesus was the Jewish Messiah and it's these folks, Rome, and the Greeks who have "cleansed" Christianity of its roots. Prove otherwise with original sources if you can and I'll listen Dave

Zen Traveler
This guy walks through Amsterdam daily and his footage and panning is almost like being there. Right now I'm watching this that was filmed last night and the colors at night are incredible!

He looked up to say excuse me and it was a friend of his from high school in Los Angeles. What are the odds of that? best I've done is bumping into an old LA schoolmate while I was in San Francisco.
