I tried a set of very expensive digital hearing aids. I couldn't get used to the digital sound of them. Very un-natural, but I did like the fact they had blue tooth. For 6 grand, you would think they could concentrate some on sound quality.  They don't make analog hearing aids with EQ anymore.

Nowadays they cut a hole in your scalp and insert a permanent probe with an amplifier and tell you you have to learn how to hear again when you tell them there is nothing but noise.

It's only $110,000.00 at first then more expensive as you learn how to hear again.
