Michel Rahal
Hello I need to communicate with the support service. Someone has your powergate system near my kids. He has a wired system. We can't find a way to disable Wi-Fi emissions. If it's not possible we need a firmware update with that option. I look forward to hearing from you. Marvel
Dr. Rahal, Welcome to the forums. You are saying the Powergate is not yours, but belongs to someone you know? I would think there would be a way to disable the wifi module, but they may not made this possible since the feature is such a huge part of the product line. I would suggest you call Klipsch support to see if they can help. The forums are mostly end users, although certain Klipsch employees are sometimes present. 1-800 554-7724 Bruce
mark1101
I can understand the concern. It would be very difficult to keep children/people/pets away from all such RF devices. Cell phones in particular, but also BT, wifi and all the wireless components everywhere as well. How about the wiring in the walls. We live in magnetic fields. derrickdj1
I think this is much ado about nothing, when you look at the world we live in. You can't protect the kids from everything and Wi Fi connected devices with increase by over 80% by 2022. Mars is not currently occupied.

Dr. Michel Rahal Yes, take the most passive approach to a problem you're genuinely concerned about: post on an internet discussion forum. There are direct emails and phone numbers that you can find easier than it was to join this forum.

JohnA
Easy guys. He might not be a troll and might be really concerned about his kids. We started out respectfully, let's stay that way. I worked in the power industry and do not share his concern, but it is his concern.
