wvu80
Thiem just hit the wall. This is the first time he's looked tired tied 5-5 in the fifth.

wvu80
The US Open is the only Grand Slam that has a tie-breaker in the 5th set. All the others are win by two games. I think it's much more exciting this way. This is it. No mistakes!
wvu80
One mistake by Thiem, the last one.

Marvel
I was asleep. I used to play tennis and enjoy it, but recently have started watching golf. Never thought I would like it, but it's simply amazing to watch, especially with the technology today. Bruce

That was about as good as it gets. US Open Quarterfinals, match tiebreaker, with the players tied at 5 to 5. That's as close as it gets. JJK There's a few sports that I feel you need to play to actually be interested in watching. I played tennis in high school and used to watch tennis whenever it was on. Once I quit playing, I quit watching. I'd put golf and bowling in the same category. Some sports are watched regardless of whether or not you participate. Football and NASCAR come to mind there. Until 3 months ago, I probably held a tennis racket less than 10 times. It's a hard sport with much less risk of injury. I play basketball and worry about taking an elbow to the teeth, etc. Golf doesn't count as a sport. 😉
