Was talking to a local radio dude who was starting a local Friday night sports call in show on the local station. Asked me what I thought would work to draw people to his show. Told him to lead it w/the beginning of Long Cool. 40 years ago and they're still using that as the intro. He's still doing his show and using it. Told me once that it was the best decision he'd ever made. I laffed at him and he said "i know, I know!" lololol Best Friday night sports show in 5-6 counties. Too funny! One of the best hooks ever done imo! I have noticed he's beginning to use more and more of the song too, which is great.
