I received a loud stereo ticket right in front of my old apartment in Chicago, cop was a total dick. I had a 1979 Toyota Supra at the time with just the factory stereo dashboard speaker playing. Ticket was not a cheap one either.

we never had these problems ,  the trucks that went up and down our streets , and the planes above  in the skies  ,  all day long   ,  drowned any of that noise-

There was a CTA bus turnaround right across the street, it was always noisy.

The Supra was a good car, similar to my 82 280 ZX in performance and fuel economy.

Here is another sign I have a $100 bounty on. This one is in my home town.

I live on a street named Fenway Park (in TX).  The street sign is constantly being stolen.

When I went away to college my parents moved.  Their new address was Abbey Road, Town of Onondaga, NY.

Funny nobody steals that road sign anymore but back in the day, it was stolen all the time. Hell, I think I may have even stolen it. Given my affinity for Da Beetles, I'm pretty sure it was subjected to urinary cleansing.

I work with a woman that lives on Marry Jane Lane, she once told me how often her street sign gets stolen and she did not understand why none of the others in the neighborhood did. I clued her in on what MJ referred to and she was floored. "Well, I had no idea those kids are just terrible".

No lie true story.
