Well I just read fifteen pages of this thread which has debated the entire ARENA of "left" vs "right", "peace" vs "war", "up" vs "down", "back" vs "front". I think every possible bit of anything mysterious about the human soul has finally been laid bare, beit good, bad, or ugly. "Ad hominum's" have been hurled more liberally than salt on the road of New England.

Do you think it would be possible to wrap up this debate before it hits forty pages, or self-destructs from its own weight? I think debate is healthy, as long as we focus on debating principles and not butchering buddies, be they left or right ...

I feel better now :)

Well put Chris. Too bad things can't remain always about the topic at hand. But with a topic like this sometimes it does stray.

I for one would not like to see the world held hostage by these obviously insane people.

I wonder what would happen if those jerks got hold of nuclear weapons . i can see them holding the world hostage to their demands .whatever demands they see fit to impose on the rest of us.

i think hussein needs to be removed from power. damn the consequences. my younger sister was in the twin towers on vacation 3 days before they were destroyed....too close for my taste.

how many innocent hard working people are going to die before we take action and purge the WORLD of this burden in the middle east.

they will not get along with the rest of the world ever... they have demonstrated this time and time again . i am a biased individual. i feel that people in this country should be able to send their kids to school without worrying about some insane terrorist attack. those terrorists were ON THE JETS THEY RAN INTO THE BUILDINGS !!!! do you think their ideals are sound ? i think we should go over there and do the neutron dance , then in a week or so send our engineers into the refineries to start pumping oil for us , the great white satan . or whatever the f%$$ they call us. i expect hate mail from this post , thats OK. I believe in freedom of speech. 1.gif

" those terrorists were ON THE

JETS THEY RAN INTO THE BUILDINGS !!!! do you think their ideals are sound???"

No and you can see the same idealistic Thinking by Liberals on this board. They think by revelation just the same. Revelation to the State and the Dem Socialist Machine that is. That comes before what is best for the Country's future and our own lives.

Mostly they are Democrat Socialist Pacifist sheep that follow their Leaders like Hilly and Pelosi.

But others are the Cause of the problem themselves. And it only festers as they are proven to be more Wrong time after time.

"Prod, You and boxing explains why you Can't play chess. LOL"

If you're going to make fun of someone, the joke should make sense and be halfway decent. The fact that you're willing to do neither is evidence enough that you are too insecure to challange a 14 year old to either a boxing match, or a chess match. Both of witch, according to you, would be events in which you would have the advantage. Also, just curious, but why do you always capitalize words that aren't supposed to be capitalized? Did you ail English?

Rotorhead- You are not alone and you are in good company and are right to feel the way you do. Your alternative option would be to give them a big hug and tell them it is your fault for causing them to do it!

Sad bunch here and not one from NYC!!!!!!!! I wonder how many NYC'ers other than Hillary thinks we should hug 'em!!!!!!!!!!

Cattleprod- this 35 yr old will gladly meet you for a friendly boxing match and in fact we can do it on skates as I like to pound on my over the border hockey buddies!! Of course, I'm only 6' 3" 220lbs. so I will let you get a couple good shots in first ;-) How about City Arena in Detroit??

But you have to throw the first three just to let me know your serious!! I don't take game misconducts for punk wannabe's.

Prod, prod, prod.....You have a lot to learn.....

Prodigass- "witch" in the context you used it above should be spelled WHICH. WITCH is the spelling for the lady with long black hair that rides the broom.

Also, you asked if Forest "ailed" English.....Did you mean Failed? Or were you anticipating your next report card?

Hit the books boy.

I suppose if I punched you in the face five times, killed your innocent loved ones, family members and then said death to Canadians you all would also show your tolerant, liberal ways right??

What's different with what they have done to the US?

I guess I am being too tough on them, let's just see if we can rehabilitate these freaks.

lol, you guys crack me up. and bloomis, this 15 year old 6-2 tae kwon do red belt would be happy to take you on as well next time I'm in the detroit area I'll give you a call (once I'm old enough to travel on my own). As for your remark on killing innocent loved ones, I'm not going to lie and say I would want to let them just to continue to trample all over us, but thats really not what they're doing. all that has happend here is we've invaded their space, and they're trying to take it back. simple as that. just my view on things.

Well, page 16 and this thread is still going ... Sigh. Okay, I'll jump in here to give some local flavor since nobody's chiming in from New York City.

I worked in NYC from 1985 to 1989 at 42nd and Park. During the day, I worked as Executive Assistant to the CEO of a Fortune 100 company. Fun job. At night, I was getting my MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business, which was located on Rector Street just two blocks from the World Trade Center. Pretty much every day, I'd take the No. 2 subway from 42nd to Wall Street, and I got to know many of the "regulars" who worked in the Financial District.

I was a marketing major, but many of my classmates for the first 32 credits were finance majors. These guys were mostly "Rocket Scientists in Training" and were working for companies in the Twin Towers. Most lived in neighboring NJ where the rent was cheaper and access to to the PATH trains into the WTC was easy. They had high hopes and dreams; we all worked our buns off to make something of ourselves in business and provide for our families.

I've kept in touch with most of them over the years, and some were working in the WTC when it went down. They're gone and their families are shattered but recovering. I can't even imagine being in their shoes, but they were smart guys and most were well insured; their families' homes and the kids' educations are paid for. I myself took it very personally when those towers were attacked. Besides for losing some really nice buddies, it could have been me, because I too lived in NJ and rode the PATH trains home from school everyday. My timing was just a bit off, but the point was made.

Fast-forward to August, 2000. I'm now living in the Boston area with my three kids and beautiful wife whom I love dearly. The father of one of my salesmen (Mark) was a good buddy of a friend of mine at my golf club; needless to say, hooking up the four of us for a friendly round of golf and a few wagers was a no-brainer, so we set 8/28/2000 as the date. It was the two youngsters (me and Mark) versus the two old farts (his dad and my buddy).

It was a perfect day, weather-wise; clear blue sky and temp in the low-80's ... Mark and I played our butts off but just couldn't seem to beat the two old codgers, and we each lost five bucks. Mark gave his dad the money along with a big hug, and the two just seemed to be in that special place only a father and son could know. It would be the last time they played golf together.

Two weeks later, Mark's dad was walking into the WTC for a business meeting when debris from the first impact fell and struck him on the head and chest. He never knew what hit him, and he lingered in and out of intensive care for the next four months, fighting infections and organ damage.

He finally passed away on 12/15/2000, making him the last official casualty of the WTC attacks.

This has all been way too personal, for me anyway, and I'm looking forward to the day that the world is rid of terrorists.

How thoughtful of me to provide a play area where we lesser humans can vent our petty emotions!

Anyway, I studied for, and received, my first commodities license at the WTC. Since we did not have time to leave the building for lunch, we took our bag lunches to the observation floor. There, we munched on sandwiches and watched the sometimes boring, sometimes furious, exchange of multimillion dollar contracts in the pits. The wheel of global finance swings around the WTC hub of the foreign currency, commodity instrument and bond markets. They dwarf the stock exchanges. Which is why the once-proud towers are so vivid an example of the globalization not only of US influence and cultural values, but also of Jewish productivity.

A few years ago, I was trading energy futures with Harvey, who spent the last half of his New York City career in the WTC. His office was adorned with large landscapes of the WTC towers from the water. We spent all day long on the phones to those guys in the pits. I do not know if any of the traders we worked with in the WTC were killed in their collapse. (And no, we did not use Cantor Fritzgerald, the clearing house wiped out by 9/11.)

But brings up another question, one which perhaps will end this perpetual thread: who has been to, or in, any of the collapsed World Trade Center buildings?

Did the buildings shake? Do you experience any lower frequency hum? How was the sound?

"9-11-01. Indeed it was a very say day, but has prodj has stated there is a reason for it. The

reason is the U.S. occupation of the Middle East and continued support for Israel."

Thanks for proving you're another sad piece of Camel $hit as well Socialist Jackass. Seems to me the reason 9-11 attacks happened is that a group of psychopaths wanted to & did murder over 3000 people, including Canadians. They would have liked to murder millions of innocent people. They'll keep on trying until they're stopped.

You are ignorant beyond being just another stupid kid like Cattle Prod. If you two can't say anything beyond pathetic oneliners, you should keep your fingers from connecting to your pathetic brains.

I'm sure even your Liberal cohorts on this thread are embarassed by you Liberal babies.

Free speech is one thing. Obscene lies are another.
