MMurg Posted April 18, 2023 Share Posted April 18, 2023 The key to distinguishing the original kg series speakers from the Heritage or Forte Family (Forte, Chorus, Quartet) ones is the width of the veneer band around the grill. On the original kg series the band was a smidge over 1/4" (except the kg2 which didn't have a veneer band). The band on the Heritage or Forte Family speakers was about double that width.
