tcoursen
Do they ever respond to e-mail? I have e-mailed both support and parts about a part for a speaker. I want to know if part is available. How hard a question is that. Why bother putting an e-mail address on the web page if you are not going to respond to questions? I am not very happy with the support. Any ideas? I have a busy schedule and thought it would be easier to just e-mail them my question instead of calling and sitting on hold.
Malcolm
Try their toll free phone number instead of e-mail.
WMcD
A phone call is a good idea. You should be able to get to parts. I don't know what the e-mail situation is. One guess is that it gets flooded, for one reason or another. Gil
Malcolm
Sometimes e-mail gets a prompt response. Sometimes it disappears into a black hole. The phone is the only reliable way to get support out of Klipsch. Supposedly they are working on improving the situtation. But it doesn't seem to have improved yet. ericleslie
Trey, I sent you an email to your stated email address and as of Sundsy night, still have not received a reply. I can resnd to you, if you like, but the point is made that if a company has a website with a place for email, the least the company can do is either reply or remove the access. Make some kind of statement that using the phone is the only reliable method of communication. (as stated, not everyone can stay on the phone or on hold during a busy day) Eric
lynnm
tcoursen and ericleslie I understand your problem as I am currently dealing with an issue via email with columbiahousecanada and getting a little crazy. That said : What do you need assistance with. Perhaps someone on the forum could be of assistance.
ericleslie
Well, thank you for the offer. It involves the topic of timbre matching. The subject is all well in good IF 1 can find speakers that are no longer in production (used) and go from there. But my question to Klipsch is what to do about matching current available NEW units. Specifically, I have KSF10.5 floorstanding speakers and was looking for a center channel, rears and a subwoofer. Was hoping they would make some suggestions and have seemingly fallen on "deaf" ears. Strange because a new purchase of their product is better than me buying someone's used Klipschs, correct ? So, that is it in a "nutshell". I am aware of the speakers that timbre match my units. Thanks for any advice or help on the matter.

T2K
eric, you're wrong on buying used. Most folks take care of good quality audio equipment and if you ask questions, check feedback, and use a little common sense you can save some dough. Just last week there was a matching center and surrounds for your 10.5's on E-Bay. You will be much happier buying the correct matching speakers for your fronts rather than buying mis-matching new speakers. Good luck to ya. Audible Nectar
Keith is right on the money here. There is no problem with buying used Klipsch - many here (including myself) own no Klipsch that was purchased new. They last for years, and provided they were not abused, will give many more years of good service. Timbre matching is paramount.
Toxic Mule
I sent an e-mail about parts over the weekend, and I didnt get a response today. One business day isn't much, especially if they are busy, so I called the parts department. They told me to contact my local dealer where i purchased the speakers. I was a little disappointed with the lack of initiative to help me, considering I just spent more than $2500 on their speakers. I thought they would be more concerned with keeping me happy for future business. Oh well, the speakers sure are great!
Guest BobG
What was your question to the parts department?
Toxic Mule
I just wanted something to use as a leveling foot on the rc-3 ll. The diagram in the owners manual says to use one for tvs like mine, which results in the speaker not being level(but there wasnt one included). Tks for the response, I really appreciate it. I know a leveling foot may seem trivial, but my previous speakers didnt allow such a thing, and I was excited to try it. I must have searched the box 5 times, thinking i'd missed it. My authorized dealer ordered me one today.
ericleslie
I noticed items on ebay. Just not as thrilled with previously owned equipment from previous experiences. Might try with Klipsch after reading and hearing the comments here. Thanks for input.
