What is H-BRSL?

H-BRSL? well...they didn't use "BR" for rosewood...just an "R"(because "BR" denotes birch raw)...and "SL" either means "satin Laquer" or has me stumped unless it means "stained and laquered"...but if that is the case, then why have the letters H-BR ahead of it?(they mean heresy, birch RAW!!) Maybe you need to request some pics to confirm what these are...and some pics of the labels too! There is always the possibility that somebody new in final assembly filled out the label and they actually are rosewood...but the code is incorrect if that is the case, either way! There was beginning to be lots of personnel changeover in 1979...new faces replacing old hands leaving for greener pastures.

Take a look on ebay for the HBRSL. I've never seen birch look like the cabinets on this set of Heresy's. I emailed a request to the seller for the model and serial number in an attempt to figure it out. It looks like the rosewood cabinet a college roomate had on a Luxman receiver from years ago.

I can't find them either, they sure looked liked the Brazilian Rosewood finish. Last I saw them they were at $511, I should have put them in my watchlist. The finish looked like the Paul Klipsch signed K-Horns that sold recently. Damn I am curious to see what they sold for.
