Royster
I was wondering if anyone other than myself finds the new Fleetwood Mac release disapointing? I have enjoyed the Mac for years, but without Christine Mc Vie the sound and overall quality of the release is disapointing. Still better than alot of the new artist of today, but not quite Mac standars IMHO.
radiob
Funny, before I turned my computer on, I put a Fleetwood Mack Tusk Lp On my new turnetable and am listening to it now.
MadDog31
Actually, I like Peacekeeper and I think it's Say You Will...I do miss McVie but the Dance is a good album to get (and DVD) if you want everyone. Ian
jdm56
The sound quality of "Say You Will" on DVD-Audio is lame, lame, lame! I should have saved some money by getting the CD instead. Better yet, I should have saved the whole wad by passing up on this one altogether!
toddvj
Yes, I'd say disappointing is the general consensus. My wife SAYS she likes it, but I've never heard her actually listening to it.
notneB
I bought it for my wife on her birthday. We listened to it and she said "you get me this $#!& for my birthday?". I told her I hadn't heard it before I bought it (which was true), and that seemed to quell her fury. We both like the older, and really older Mac. jt1stcav
I hate to admit it, but I also agree Mac's latest album isn't as exciting as their previous offerings (Rumours and Tusk are still my all-time favorites). Christy McVee's talents are surely missed in this album IMO, although Lindsey Buckingham's guitar playing is still quite fresh and energizing! garymd
I just listened to "Mystery To Me" last night. I only listen to the old stuff when Bob Welch was still around.

picky
Royster: Please read my earlier review about the new Fleetwood Mac DVD from the Klipsch "DVD's, Music and Movies" Topics Forum: http://forums.klipsch.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=51213&sessionID={3EE6C07D-7DC6-463D-B979-77659433E0A9}
Royster
Picky. Nice review! I do not have the DVD as I am a 2 mchannel, tube, vinyl kind of guy. But I do have the dance cd, and love it. It is just Say you will, that I find disapointing. That being said, it is still a better listen than some if not most of the new artist of the past several years. I sound like good ole dad there. lol
picky
Royster: Thanks, "Dad"! Seriously, I totally agree with you; I miss not hearing Christine Mc Vie's voice there, too. It's just not the same. I hope she decides to return to the group sometime in the future. But, from what I have read, her return is not very likely.
Bruinsrme
I went tot he concert they released. It was VERY disppointing. It is too bad Lindsey was trying to act like Chuck Berry and Jimmy Hendrix. Without Christie the vocals were very shallow. My recommendation is do not buy.
