Jim Cornell
I was bored and had a can of clear coat, I figured after 30 years the lamination might start to lift so I protected them. Regards Jim

IndyKlipschFan
WOW Jim those are just breathtakingly fantastic!! You have to be proud. My only fear is gear falling off or over way up so high on those plastic stands. We have kids too, nice to see someone else in the "Plastic toy stage" lol.. Good point!! Get a strap or two from the top shelf into some studs ASAP. Having those tip over onto the kids would be your worst nightmare. Nice horns, Jim! Klipschfoot
Or, at least, lower your equipment so the knobs are at child level.

thebes
Sweeet! Very nice job but get rid of that rack before you kill somebody, or worse yet injure your gear! Scroll down a little farther and check out the pic on the flexy rack. Several people besides me have bult them. They are cheap and look good. edwinr
They have come up very nicely, Jim. Your Klipschorns are exactly the same finish as mine. Hope you don't mind, I pasted one of your pictures so all can admire your handiwork.
Jim Cornell
Thank you very much for the nice reply. I took my time on the application. Sunnysal what I used is the MINWAX (Water Based) Polycrylic protective finish clear gloss. No oder, easy to clean up. I like doing this better than a once a year oil, dust simply wipes off. J M O N
Nice job Jim! Is this a spray-on application?
Jim Cornell
I applied this with a foam brush, used for stain applications. Regards Jim
