lynnm
In the spirit of Thebes' generous offer. I have some decent LPs that I never listen to but also know that others might enjoy having. Why don't we each post a want list of LPs/cds etc. that we would like to have and members could trade or give to each other for the cost of shipping ? FWIW I enjoy Gilbert and Sullivan.....Especially Martyn Green.
garymd
Great idea Lynn. Only problem is I don't have all night to type. I still have about 500 or so lps I'd gladly give away. I'll certainly check posts here to see if anyone is into Anita Bryant or Jim Nabors. Actually, I gave most of those away already but I'm sure I've got something here folks would like. Start posting! dodger
Great Idea!! I'll post a list Monday - LPs, CDs & possibly some other audio things. One request if anyone has it or knows where I can get it: (seeking) Shelter From the Storm the Richard Crowell / Emmy Lou Harris version. I would pay... dodger
rtaylor
I have an old RCA red seal album to give/trade. Beethoven, symphonies nos 1 and 9. Toscannini with the NBC Symphony Orchestra. Disco Boogie Vol 2 damn near perfect Leonard Bernstein "rhapsody in blue" "an american in paris" in good shape On the RCA: I'm not an expert on condition but these are not pristine. Side 2 and 3 have scratches on them while 1 and 4 seem to be in really good shape. The box holding them has water marks on it and is in bad shape also although the program notes are in excellant shape. Cleaned up side 3,the worst and played it.Sorta noisy but it did not skip and was listenable. Hears some cd's also. Nappy Roots "Watermelon chicken and gritz" Kenny G "The Moment" Hope to have a more complete list soon

dodger
Hello: I am surprised that so few have decided to possily participate. Rather disappointing, but for those that are, a very courteous point. As a member of the Forum I can honestly say - besides the fact that I have been very slow in shipping - when health is not as good, more posts - that any equipment that I have to sell will be offered here only first. Some Adcom gear, Yamaha tuner, Carver Sonic Hologram Generator to name some will be coming for sale shortly. Also some NOS tubes - PM or email if you need something. Still working on medical bills, but want to move to some Parasound. When Mark gets his Amp(s) ready, Some McIntosh SS and tube will also be going to cover the costs - including the extra shipping for the Jill Hennesy Tape, Mark. Also trades for Glass dust covers will be desired. The McIntosh in one room is next to the Kitchen, thus a higher point of keeping clean. LP, CD list later. A couple of Shure mixers, etc.. Anyone familiar at all with Shelter from the Storm by Crowell/Emmylou Harris? There is a very personal reason, similar to the episode of Crossing Jordan where I first heard it. There is a Couple that I wish to give a copy to regarding the experiences they went through. thanks, dodger Win
garymd
Any Loretta Lynn fans? I have quite a few original lps in NM+ condition I'd be happy to trade.
dgb
I'd be interested in the Carver sonic hologram! I have "stuff" I'd be willing to trade. A Soundcraftsmen EQ, BSR 3000 EQ, possibly a Nakamichi CR-2 tape deck, an old Mitsubishi hi-fi VCR (tank like build). A bunch of CDs and LPs I've "upgraded". Anyone like Pete Fountain? My mother inlaw had me make tapes of her LPs and told me to keep them. I never listen to them though.

thebes
Dodger, I'd be interested in some of the lps (good list by the way) but I'm not sure if I have anything to trade that you might want. Got a few spare cd's but they might not be your style. Also have a broken Rotel 855 cd player.
