spaaaz
Ok I am trying to make plans to attend,Is a rental car a good idea or can I take a cab from the airport to the hotel and be close to all the planned activities? Air is cheap from chicago 100 bucks roundtrip, dang it would cost me that in gas to drive Mike
Moderators Amy Posted March 28, 2005 Author Moderators Share Posted March 28, 2005 From the Holiday Inn's website Airport info: Indianapolis International (IND) Distance: 18 MI/ 28.97 KM N Taxi Fee: $35.00 (USD) from http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hd/indno
spaaaz
So once I am at the hotel a car will not be needed to travel to the other activities?
Moderators Amy Posted March 28, 2005 Author Moderators Share Posted March 28, 2005 The activities have not been planned yet. Whatever we decide to do on Saturday "officially," I'm sure we can accomodate transportation. You're basically on your own for Friday and Sunday. Keep in mind that a rental car from Alamo is cheaper to rent for the whole weekend than it is to take a taxi to and from the airport. Klipsch HQ is walking distance to both the Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn which is where most of the activities are. Last year Klipsch provided transportation by bus to and from the officially sponsored activites. I expect they'll likely do the same this year. Frzninvt
Strange! I just checked Orbitz and they offered me a single King at the Comfort Inn (Pyramids) as part of the package deal with the flight. That is the hotel in question correct? I don't see the threads on the two hotels anymore. Where did they go?
NOSValves
I'm booked for Friday and Saturday at the Holiday Inn.
Seadog
I booked at the Holiday Inn early this morning. They still had 20 rooms available at the $99 rate. All double bed rooms are $229.

Moderators Amy Posted April 19, 2005 Author Moderators Share Posted April 19, 2005 If you're trying for the Comfort Inn, be sure to mention Klipsch because we just checked, and according to them, none of our "blocked" rooms are booked yet!! Piranha
Due to paranoia, I just booked the Holiday Inn. I wouldn't normally book so early, but because of this thread I thought it may be worthwile to do so now. FWIW, They said they still have plenty of rooms available 6/24-6/26 for Klipsch Pilgrimage.
