pauln
Pretty hopefull looking specs - only -2dB down at 10Hz? With desktop mini-monitors? And what is the meaning of the "Input" spec at 10KOhm? Paul

Marvel
IC preamp stage and LEDs for biasing the output tubes. Pretty novel. 12 VAC power input. No wonder it is such a low output amp.
zachary vex
plate voltage is stepped up to 165 volts using dual independent linear power supplies with internal toroidal transformers. preamp section has 40V rail-to-rail feeding OP-275s. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/zacharyvex/topviewiMPboard.jpg

seti
To be honest I'd rather pay 375 per channel for those mercury vapor amps on ebay. Sellers other items []

Cal Blacksmith
Thing looks like a POS...and for $500 somthing, no way Before you put the authority of your total of 15 years on this planet against this piece of gear, I recommend that you audition one. There are several stores that sell them in the L.A. area and I am sure one is close enough for you to go listen to this amp. I think the idea is kinda neat and it might make a good headphone amp. If I were in a position to be able to buy one (the kitchen remodel is draining the cash reserves fast) I just might do so. You might be too young to have heard the expression but here it is anyway. "Don't judge a book by it's cover" What is inside might surprise you.
