picky
> Looking for Mr. Goodbar - Just too freaky > The Day After Tomorrow - Couldn't stomach the a force-fed "agenda overload" > Kill Bill 1 - Didn't waste my time seeing "2" > Forrest Gump - What a waste of celluloid > Howard the Duck - Ditto, what itsawomanthing said. > Pulp Fiction - I guess I'm just not a Tarantino fan..... > Strictly Ballroom - Yeah, I know: What was I thinking? Hey, anything to keep the wife happy. (I nearly vomitted... it was so bad!) > Forgot the title - This movie was SO bad, that the wife and I walked out on it about a year ago, and I can't remember the title! Seriously! > Any of the late 50's early 60's beach-party, surfing movies including any Elvis movies. - Annette Funicello's looks and Dick Dale's music were their only redeeming qualities! > A Clockwork Orange - I STILL don't get it. > Striptease - Burt Reynolds at the absolute-lowest point in his career ..I'll add more when I think of them. jheis
ANY thing with Slyvester Stallone, Steven Segal, Bruce Willis, Richard Benjamin, Richard Dreyfuss, in it. I'm sure there are others that will come to me later, but these are actors I will never watch. I will NOT, under any circumstances watch any movie these guys are in. Oh, I forgot: add Adam Sandler to the list and Pauly Shore - although I'm not sure anyone would actually characterize what he does as "acting." theryugobuddy
ANY thing with Slyvester Stallone, Steven Segal, Bruce Willis, Richard Benjamin, Richard Dreyfuss, in it. I'm sure there are others that will come to me later, but these are actors I will never watch. I'm a hater, not a uniter. I will NOT, under any circumstances see any movie these guys are in. Gosh--- I agree with all of these actors--they usually kill the movie-- BUT- Have you seen "Tango and Cash"(so bad its funny) or "First Blood"(darn cool action) with Sly? "Pulp Fiction" (his best acting) and "The Fifth Element"(the movie around him is too good) are Willis at his best, but, yes, he usually stinks up a movie Richard Benjamin is good in "Westworld"--and his character gets killed early-- Dreyfuss was great many years ago--"Jaws", "Close Encounters...", and "American Graffiti", "The Goodbye Girl" , and he's good in "The American President"-- Seagal is just a bad actor who plays the exact same character in every movie--the action almost makes his movies watchable-- But---how about George Clooney? I can't get past how stiff and uncomfortable he looks in every movie--I've not believed his character in many good movies where he is the worst element -- like :Oh, Brother, Where art Thou", "Oceans 11 and 12", "Intolerable Cruelty", "Solaris" all come to mind-- And Angelica Huston--ouch! She wouldn't be in movies if it wasn't for her father-- Jessica Lange overacts in all her movies--it hurts to watch her-- Don't get me started... jheis
I think Benjamin and Dreyfuss are generally considered to be pretty good actors. I just personally can't stand them. James

Moderators Amy Posted October 24, 2005 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2005 The only movie I've walked out of is Problem Child. And try as I may, I can't stay awake through The English Patient. JJkizak
"Two Lane Blacktop". I liked the car though. Also Cornell Wilde, but his "Naked Prey" was beautifully done but the acting not so good. JJK

[] Flesh Eating Mothers is an awful movie that we would try to get people to rent when I working at the video store...I can't believe our owners liked the movie!!! Then there was that movie about break dancing, but I don't remember the title right now...we would watch it in fast forward at work and add our own lyrics - stupidest movie ever!
