Time to mix things up a little bit. Remember way back when on the old rock stations they would have something like Two For Tuesday? They would play two songs from the same band all day. Typically one was a well known number and the other was a little more obscure. Well lets play 2-4-Monday. We will give an easier one so you know the band/artist then a little less know one to make it fun. You have to get both right to be the next one posting lyrics. Have the Ronette's "Be My Baby" rattling around in my head, so I think the title is similar, but can't for the life of me come up with it right now... rats... I don't think I ever saw it on an album. Think some of the lyrics were quite a bit different, too. okay, try this... The Talking Heads' 1978 recording from their "More Songs about Buildings and Food" album is probably the best known, but the song was written by Al Green and appears on his 1974 "Explores your Mind" LP. You've posted lyrics to "Blinded by the Light," penned and first recorded by Bruce Springsteen but generally known as Manfred Mann's most played song on AOR/classic rock stations.
