ranjith
Ok this is about as weird as a Klipsch related ebay item as I've ever seen... a coffee mug stolen from PWK? or atleast so it states http://cgi.ebay.ca/Stolen-from-Paul-Klipsch-Legend-in-Sound-Drinking-Cup_W0QQitemZ5861539852QQcategoryZ61378QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Daddy Dee
Yeh, from time to time these will be on Ebay. Also there are pocket knives "stolen" from Paul Klipsch. Kind of a cute promotional item from the days of Klipsch and Associates.
rplace
Pretty common way to advertise. I used to frequent a bar and all the ashtrays had the bars log on them and said "Stolen from Zach's" I've seen a lot more of the Klipsch pocket knives then the mugs. Bill H.
Nice mug. But why would someone list on Ebay Canada, when the Mug is listed as being in Hunington, WV?.................
jagangjee
I wonder if it has been washed? Would that decrease the value? []
ranjith
Nice mug. But why would someone list on Ebay Canada, when the Mug is listed as being in Hunington, WV?................. I browse ebay.ca as opposed to ebay.com because ebay.ca lists only the products that will be shipped to Canada
cyclonecj
I bought one of those mugs a few years ago from ebay. It came with a pair of pens with the same saying. The pens broke right away, but I still use the mug.
Doc Robin
I put in a good bid on this before I saw this thread; Hope I didnt bump someone out that was already bidding for it. There was a belt buckle on ebay a couple of year's ago that I wanted but did not go for it like I should have. Good luck Bill

ranjith
that coffee mug went for a ridiculously high price :| I mean... its a coffee mug for cryin' out loud!
cyclonecj
Wow... That is high.... I think I paid $12+shipping for mine, & it was new & included the pens!
fletcherkane
$119 bucks plus shipping for a coffee mug. Man am I in the wrong business....I have a couple of KG2.2's that I paid that much for. Ebay is a strange animal sometimes.
jacksonbart
Agreed, way too much. I bet the seller has a big box full of them.
Daddy Dee
I have an idea! What if the Klipsch online store had some of these made and sold them with black Klipsch Tshirts?
ranjith
I have an idea! What if the Klipsch online store had some of these made and sold them with black Klipsch Tshirts? I second that, Klipsch needs to sell more accessories/memorabilia. I think they'd made a small chunk on the side, especially with quite a large loyal fanbase. Think a lot of folks might want to own a shirt or two
Moderators Amy Posted February 8, 2006 Moderators Share Posted February 8, 2006 Accessories have historically done very poorly on our website, and we end up with a surplus of items we've had to giveaway. Now we are limited to 5 items to list at one time. Either people weren't aware of them, or the only interest lies with a few members of the forum! jacksonbart
Makes sense to me I would not spend 119.00 or 19.00 for a Klipsch coffee mug even if sold directly from the web site.
Arky
Me either on the mug but I would spend $25 on a 2 sided black Klipsch t-shirt. JT
colterphoto1
I know we've talked about this before, but 'promotional' items like t-shirts, hats, and coffee mugs are really intended to be conversation starters, getting the name Klipsch out there in the public. Looking at the company store as a 'profit center' is terrifically short-sighted thinking. Please try to get the Marketing types to understand that there is a small army of very influential Klipsch fans out here who would be HAPPY to talk their products up! All we need is a line of products to wear/use in public and we'll talk about Klipsch all day long. Michael
