JJkizak Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Carson Palmer likes to throw those slow floaters to the sideline which give the defense plenty of time to intercept. He looks reeally slow. JJK Quote

Colin Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 So we're on the verge of the season's midpoint -- 115 games down, 141 to go -- these 10 truths have become evident as we head to November: 1. Green Bay's the best team. 2. Second-best: I don't totally trust anyone. Niners? Steelers? Patriots, assuming they can play a shootout? Or everyone's not-so-darkhorse this morning, Philadelphia? 3. The Colts are 0-8. Miami's 0-7. St. Louis, Denver and Arizona might be in play before the Race for Andrew Luck concludes on New Year's Day. To me, there's one clear leader in the clubhouse for the top pick in the 2012 draft, because the Dolphins are just too darned competitive for their own good: Indianapolis. JJkizak Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 The older NFL quarterbacks are saying that Aaron Rogers may be the best quarterback that ever played in the NFL. He and Cutler have the fastest releases. I would like to see a release comparison of all the active/non active quarterbacks. The coaches say this is almost a mandatory requirement in today's game. WS65711 Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 The older NFL quarterbacks are saying that Aaron Rogers may be the best quarterback that ever played in the NFL...... Yeah, I heard Aaron say the pretty much same thing in a recent TV interview. Quote
BigStewMan Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 The older NFL quarterbacks are saying that Aaron Rogers may be the best quarterback that ever played in the NFL...... Yeah, I heard Aaron say the pretty much same thing in a recent TV interview. that's a tough call since the league is so much more QB friendly than it was before. Many QBs today wouldn't be successful if the rules were the same as they were in the days of bradshaw, stabler, and even montana. Before, CBs could do more to stop receivers and you could clobber a QB; now, if you look at a QB too long, it's a penalty. Quote

stormin Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Maybe the Saints . . . but definitely not the Colts Very observant of you. Quote

Colin Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 week 11 power rankings: 1 (1) Packers 9-0 If they survive a tough game in Detroit on Thanksgiving, the Packers have a real chance to go undefeated. (Clayton) 2 (2) 49ers 8-1 Alex Smith's performance against the Giants shows the 49ers can beat good teams without Frank Gore carrying the offense. (Sando) 3 (4) Saints 7-3 Bye week gives the Saints a chance to regroup before welcoming the Giants and Lions to the Superdome for likely shootouts. (Sando) 4 (5) Steelers 7-3 Pittsburgh's defense showed against Cincinnati that it still can close out games. (Walker Quote
