Cornwalled
La Scalas on ebay Anyone else blown away by this? They're not in THAT great of shape- notice the knicks on the sides of cabs, etc. Totally insane closing price. -Jon
colterphoto1
I wouldn't have given 1/3 of that. I have much better looking ones I paid $750 for. Those will be back around. No way that price will stick. Michael
Daddy Dee
I agree. A dollar against a dime, that transaction won't complete.

Mike Lindsey
Mine are much nicer than those... and I wouldn't let mine go for less than $2k. Mike

triceratops
The winning bidder has already left positive feedback for the seller regarding answering questions after the sale. Weird!
oldbuckster
They look nice...but....Add on shipping and I don't know if they are such a deal.....Pick-up is the only way......................
dp1954
I've got a mint pair of 96 lascalas in W/O that I only paid 1050 for. No way the deal will close on these at that price. For that price you could find 3 pairs in decent shape. Dave
WS65711
The winning bidder has already left positive feedback for the seller regarding answering questions after the sale. Weird! And the seller left positive feedback also. Plus look at what the seller bought recently. A pair of empty VOT cabinets for $1175 ?

Not everybody in the world is looking for a bargain. Just the cheapskates here on the forum[]. Maybe this guy doesn't want to spend the next 2 years fretting over missed deals, craiglists, garage sales and auctions. Most of us own some Heritage already, we should be happy to see these kinds of sales.

Mike Lindsey
Good point, seti! Wouldn't surprise me if La Scala prices will be up over the next couple of months. Mike
Rudy81
Wow. I got my Khorns for less than that, and they were close to mint.
Daddy Dee
I dunno... postive feedback both ways one day after the auction closes... it's odd. That might not mean anything, but it is unusual, in my observation.
stormin
I agree the positive feedbacks 1 day after auction both ways sends up the red flag. Very very doubtful this transaction ever existed.

Very very doubtful this transaction ever existed. Yeah, the whole thing seems odd to me. But would there be any benefit to fake something like this? The Ebay fees would be significant... triceratops
boom3
what I find interesting is that the bid jumped 1200 in one day (Nov. 8) connivance, desire, or simple ignorance...?
