oldtimer
I like the old Jeopardy, until the questions became reduced to just above moron level. For pure entertainment on a base level, the old wheel of fortune was great---they won all this money and then had to spend it on the showroom of crap, pure irony and mean-spirited fun from the producers. RichardP
Do any of you ancients (like me) recall a short-lived Saturday AMchildren's game show from the 60s called "Shenanigans," with hostStubby Kaye? Kids moved around the studio-sized board like gamepieces. There was another one, perhaps called TreasureIsland, or Treasure Chest. Kid contestants earned clues, which woulddirect them to dig in sand or go up a coconut tree to find prizes orother clues.
Diamond45
I've always like Match Game as well. Used to watch it on CBS when I came home from elementary school! (shows how old I am)
sunburnwilly
Lets Make a Deal ! Would you trade that $500.00 for whats inside box #3 ?
Moderators dtel Posted January 26, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 26, 2007 I would have to say, Lets make a deal and The Newlywed Game, also Family Feud. Some of the old game shows are being replayed on Satellite on The Game show channel, still funny. You can really see how much things have changed over time watching some of the old shows. theryugobuddy
MXC on Spike is hilarious, and brutal competition between those folks across the big pond-- The comedic voice overs are a hoot--
